Add navigation for on water and in air so you can use Waze when your on a boat and on a plane or helicopter and make it so can see planes.
If your on a plane you can get directions and see other flights and other apps can show you flights so Waze can do it to and on water will be super useful you see police boats and other stuff and make it switchable in the app so you can switch to land to water to air and maybe even add to google maps because Waze might merge with google maps because they own Waze.

Constantly display on the map the roads that are painted red in order to avoid traffic jams based on the driver's knowledge of the roads and
I would like to address something that really bothers me about the service, and I think I really miss seeing the traffic congestion and traffic jams on the map at the same time, especially while navigating to my destination on the alternative routes that are possible for me to take, so that at any given time I can calculate a route and navigate to try to avoid traffic jams and congestion. Feature Suggestion: Truck & Travel Trailer Routing Mode
Hi Waze team! It would be incredibly helpful to add a dedicated routing option for trucks towing travel trailers. This feature could generate safe routes that account for:
- 🚫 Avoiding sharp or narrow right turns
- 🚧 Identifying height restrictions and bridge clearances
- 🛑 Bypassing roads with trailer or truck limitations

Suggest to show clearly which lane to choose for multi-lane roundabouts in the UK and bus lanes
Eagerly hoping Waze will have a clear guidance of which lane to choose for multi-lane roundabouts in the uk, i often get confused about which lane to choose. This will be very helpful especially for new drivers or people entering new zones, i often see crashes of cars choosing wrong lanes in multi-lane roundabouts. Please add this feature. Another suggestion is adding bus lanes alert.

PLEASE improve auto routing feature
Since its implementation I've HATED that Waze...after a short interval...automatically chooses one route (out of several options). The time allotted is not nearly long enough to allow for an informed choice (at least not in a densely populated area where there are several options). If two or three routes are very close in travel time, the shorter one may have higher tolls or traffic slow downs...and I want to assess each one. At least, allow users to turn off the auto route option. I, for one, know my area well and the advantages/disadvantages of each route, and don't want Waze…

New color for current route on map that contrasts from the color of the other roads
The route color, especially on Apple Maps, that is light blue is almost the exact same color as all the other roads that are greyish blue. It’s hard to know which road to take sometimes because they are all the same color. I’d love if the route was a different color or stood out more.

Dear Waze Team,
I would like to suggest an important improvement to the app: adding a button at the beginning of each drive to select the type of vehicle – such as private car, truck, commercial vehicle, bus, etc.
As a truck driver, I often get directed to roads that are not suitable for heavy vehicles – including narrow streets, bridges with height restrictions, or roads where commercial vehicles are prohibited. These situations cause delays, frustration, and sometimes even safety hazards.
I believe this feature would greatly enhance the user experience and allow for more personalized and safe navigation.

Adjust routes
Hi Waze team,
I’m a long-time Wazer (5+ years), and I truly appreciate the app. However, I’d like to share some frustrating limitations:
- Add the ability to manually edit a route with multiple intermediate stops
Waze usually finds good routes, but sometimes I want to manually adjust it — set 2–3 waypoints, fix the path myself, and avoid places I don’t want to pass. Right now, it’s not possible to fully customize a route this way.
- Allow starting a route from a different location (not current GPS location)

We need a save option with maybe folder
Be great to have a save option with a folder to save directions and routes with editing, sometimes the same route might need to be taken without motorways, when the same route might need them.

Electric car planning with chargers and battery info
I would like to use Waze like ABRP. For me Waze is the best GPS software to drive my car with. But nowadays I have an electric car and need to plan my trip with the battery level and consumption and the available electric chargers on my way. To avoid road construction
You should add so that you can do the same to avoid road construction as with avoiding toll roads! That is, choose another alternative route if road construction is on the proposed route. A completely different thing is that you should add a warning for all "fixed" road bumps so you don't get hit by a car!

Avoid Thomas Hill Rd, Madison, IN 47250
We have semi tractor trailer traffic that comes from North and East that is directed from the main highways to take Thomas Hill Rd. This is not a semi tractor trailer safe road. It is one lane, windy, and no guard rails with many sharp turns. They get stuck and have to be towed back out. This causes degradation of the road at a higher rate than normal erosion, it is very unsafe, uses county resources to remove them, etc. THey are trying to get to the power plant that is at the bottom of this hill.
