Feature Suggestion: Truck & Travel Trailer Routing Mode.
Hi Waze team! It would be incredibly helpful to add a dedicated routing option for trucks towing travel trailers. This feature could generate safe routes that account for:
- 🚫 Avoiding sharp or narrow right turns
- 🚧 Identifying height restrictions and bridge clearances
- 🛑 Bypassing roads with trailer or truck limitations

Option to Disable Auto-Rerouting After Route Is Set

I’d like to suggest a feature that allows users to disable automatic rerouting after setting a route.
As a driver, it’s not always possible (or safe) to constantly check the device to notice when Waze changes the route and tap “No thanks” in time to stay on the original path.There are countries where you must follow a specific route due to legal or financial reasons — for example, vignette zones, road restrictions, or toll obligations. Cheapest route (including the cost for my time)
Sometimes I want to take the fastest route possible, but most times I want to take the cheapest route. By cheapest route, I mean one that includes a cost for my time as well as fuel, depreciation, and tolls.

Stop rerouting
Stop rerouting me. I chose the roads I wanted to go on and it kept sending me on different roads. I was out of town so of course I didn't notice it changed me. It should stay on the route I choose and never leave that unless I give permission. I want to choose my own roads and Waze just stay on them. Please and thank you

Add Pause Button to Route Guidance
I use Waze a lot for local driving and frequently take small diversions to convenience stores or maybe swing by another store or a friend's house a few blocks away that is not on the original route.
I find it very hard to believe that no one has ever added a Pause button to route guidance.
I have seen it rationalized that it would be distracting while you're driving.

RV/Truck routing
Any possibility in the future to be able to choose RV or Tractor Trailer as your vehicle then trigger truck routes that would send you around low clearances or sharp turns, step grades etc.?

Include traffic signal count on route summary.
For “short” routes or re-routes, include count of traffic signals. During peak periods, a longer route may be preferable with less signals, which have the potential for delay if even no delay exists at the time of route calculation. The definition of short is arbitrary and could be decided by the devs based on utility vs performance.

Add favorites to a route
When I go on long trips, I enjoy stopping at rest areas, but I have no clue where they are or when they'll appear. I've ended up at a sketchy gas station, only to discover a rest area just 2 miles ahead. I also like pulling over at specific restaurant chains, but again, I don't know their locations. It would be awesome to add favorites to a route so the app tracks the distance to the nearest Chick-fil-A or Buc-ee's, then resets after you pass it to show the next one. This feature would be a game-changer.

Please stop automatic (dynamic) re-routing. Waze no longer is asking for re-routing permission from the user during active navigation. Waze is now dynamically (automatically) re-routes user without askiing nor alerting the user. Please STOP automatic (dynamic) re-routing without asking user's permission. Add stops
Before, it was possible to add multiple stops on Waze, and this is important for me since I work with deliveries. However, after the latest updates, it's only possible to add a single stop. On top of that, instructions like "turn right," "turn left," and "roundabout" are no longer being spoken, which makes using Waze impractical and forces me to rely on Google Maps. Please bring back the feature to add multiple stops because, even on the slowest day, I have seven consecutive deliveries to complete. Vocês deviam aprimorar as rotas e traçar rotas mais inteligentes para os usuários, talvez usando algum tipo de inteligência artificial para calcular e entender qual seria o melhor trajeto mais curto e direto, pois muitas vezes vocês me dão rotas mais longas e completamente sem sentido me fazendo desviar o trajeto indo para o lado oposto do meu destino e me fazendo dar voltas inúteis no quarteirão para depois voltar ao mesmo lugar onde eu já estava.

Routex Fuel and Charge card support
Many car leasings in Germany are supported by Routex PB + ARAL fuel and charge card. Routex is spanning on a network of charging providers beyond just BP and Aral, but I have not found a list that allows me to enter these into the charging provider list. Any way you could add Routex to your menu of charging points? That would help many users in at least Germany and I also think Austria, if I am not mistaken. Thank you for considering it.

multistop saved routes
Every weekday morning I drop my daughter off at school on my way to work. I set my work address in waze first and then "add a stop" and put in my daughter's school. It would be nice to have an option to set saved route with multiple stops so that I could select it each morning in one step.

Road restrictions
Entering this idea as the previous "Road width restrictions" idea is closed for votes as implemented, even though it is not. Probably why its been omitted for several years.
Have waze allow map editors to include road restrictions, including width, height, weight, vehicle type, time based and temporary.
Allow users to include vehicle specifics in their route options.
The existing implementation uses the vehicle registration, but that only works in some countries and not the UK which has a lot of such restrictions.
Other routing apps have these features.

Option to Ignore Automatic Traffic Rerouting for Motorbikes
Let motorbike riders stay on the original route even if Waze suggests a reroute. Constant rerouting can be distracting or unsafe when riding.3 votes
