Product Gap
Limiting routes to only one stop is a major usability gap—most navigation apps support multiple stops, and this is a basic expectation, especially for Android Auto users.
Also, the inability to edit destinations after adding a stop and the lack of address visibility for saved contacts are functional limitations, not feature requests.
This impacts real-world usage like errands, deliveries, or multi-stop trips. It reduces Waze’s practicality compared to competitors.
Please confirm if these are actively being worked on or planned. Redirecting to the suggestion box doesn’t resolve the current usability problems.

Alternate Route
Is it possible to allow the alternate route button to be pressed while driving. When I press it, the app seems to glitche saying it's not safe to calculate while moving and I have to close the app and re-open. I think this is a bug.

Direct Waze Map access while using Android Auto, please bring back
When launching Waze now while connected to Android Auto you CANNOT directly access the waze map on your device only on vehicle Android Auto screen. ADDITIONALLY You are required to enter a destination and then they appear on the device. I ONLY want to use the WAZE MAP on my device while connected to Android Auto. Please bring this back as was this way for years! I like to use Waze on my Android device and then use Google Maps on my vehicles screen. Simple. Using Waze with Android Auto and large screens, it
Using Waze with Android Auto and large screens, The button to choose between different routes is far away from the driver. This causes the gaze to be diverted from the road in an attempt to locate the button while reaching out a hand away from the steering wheel. I suggest placing the knob close to the driver's seat

Add a simple Retry button after route planning fails
Often, I enter my destination right before driving.
Sometimes Waze fails to plan the route (because of weak signal or Wi-Fi/mobile switch).
This usually happens just after I start driving, so it’s hard and unsafe to go through many taps to try again in Android Auto.Please add a small “Retry” button on the error screen to try planning again with the same address.

Nearest petrol station on the driven route
During active navigation, on android auto, when I search for petrol station I shows me the nearest one as the crow flies, but not the nearest one on my route. (As does google maps do.)
Sometimes it shows me a petrol station 2km away, but to get there i need to drive 20km, then drive of the highway, and drive 20km back.
Also zooming and moving of the map would be nice while viewing the petrol stations, to see if they are a viable option.1 vote -
multiple navigation issues with recent update
- The cancel navigation button is completely unresponsive during a trip when i need to change the destination. I have to press it at least 15-30 times for it to take effect and cancel the navigation, sometimes cancelling and registering the tap on the screen as a tap on a location from a drop down list of recent destinations (which is not the desired change). I then have to spend another bunch of taps to cancel that navigation to input the correct destination.

Turn by turn list directions
When using waze and android auto there is no way to see the turn by turn list of direction like when using the waze app alone. Also, my wife uses apple and carplay and as soon as she connects to waze via carplay her turn by turn list directions appear on her phone screen while the graphical interface of waze appears on the carplay screen simultaneously. Please provide a way to see the list of directions on android auto too. It is very important for planning a trip.

2026 BZ/Solterra Stop Route Issue
There is an issue when using Waze with Android Auto in a 2026 Toyota BZ or 2026 Subaru Solterra. The X to stop an active your doesn't respond. All other areas and buttons on the screen respond. I have to use voice command to cancel the route. The physical screen area works when the X to cancel the route isn't there, i.e. select saved destination still in Waze. The X to stop your doesn't work in full, 2/3, or when 1/3 of the screen.

We need to ba able ti switch off street name on the view because street name block the view and it is some time dangerous. o
Street name on the map blocks the view of street and this is also dangerous. Waze shall be updated in order to permit to switch off streetname on the map in Android auto. Best regards

Recent change has made reporting more difficult when using a selection wheel in Android Auto
Previously, rotating the selection wheel (non-touch screen operation) when on the map display all the way to the right would select the report icon and stop there. Since a recent update, it instead loops back to the first icon and goes through the selection again.
However, turning the scroll wheel all the way to the left still stops at the first icon and doesn't loop back around.
The previous operation made reporting things much easier, as it was possible to select the report icon by rotating the selection wheel to the right without having to look at the screen to…2 votes
