1. Trust based system for report longevity

   Hi Waze Team,

   I’d like to suggest adding a trust-based system to improve the accuracy of reports. The idea is that users who consistently receive upvotes on their reports could have their future reports trusted for a longer duration by default. This would reward reliable contributors while reducing the impact of inaccurate or spam reports.

   For example, if a user frequently provides reports that receive positive feedback, their new reports could remain visible longer before requiring additional confirmations. Conversely, reports from users with a lower trust score could require more confirmations sooner.

   I believe this could enhance the reliability of real-time data while encouraging high-quality contributions.

2. Longer lasting in lower population

   Potholes, hazards, construction and other things similar to this should remain on the map longer in lower populated areas as there are less people to upvote these. People shouldn't have to report the same pothole several times a day, these need to have a higher default lasting time and take into consideration the Waze user density in that area.

4. Add a HOT/HOV lane on-screen toggle

   Please add an on-screen toggle when the HOT/HOV lane is coming up. Many people have different times they use the lanes. For instance, I always use the HOV lane when I have another passenger, but obviously never use it when I am alone. For the HOT lane, I only use it if the cost is under a couple dollars. I've seen it go up in the teens, and that is way too much. I only make these decisions while already driving because I'm not thinking about them at the start of the trip in the suburbs. If I'm driving alone, I can't access the Waze menu to turn them on or off. An on-screen pop up would be much better.

5. Pedestrian crosswalks as a hazard (For crosswalks with no stop signs)

   There are some crosswalks with no stop signs. I believe this would make crosswalks easier to spot when more obvious signals are not present (stop signs, lights, etc)

8. Speed Limit Alerts for Commercial Vehicles

   In the UK speed limits for public light goods (commercial) vehicles are different, so for example on national speed-limit A-roads, cars are allowed to do 60mph, but commercial vehicles like panel vans, can only do 50mph. It’s to do with the increased payloads they potentially carry.

   This differential isn’t catered for in the app, so when it’s set to alert when the speed limit is reached, a van driver in many cases is actually 10mph over which is enough of a margin to receive an endorsement in the UK.

   The speed differences for light goods vehicles are however standardised: they can do 70mph the same as cars on motorways; 60mph instead of 70mph on dual-carriage ways; and 50mph instead of 60mph on single carriage national speed limit A roads. Given this standardisation, it shouldn't be too difficult for the devs to provide what would be an incredibly useful setting for commercial vehicle drivers who I’m sure make up a good swathe of the community given how much time they spend driving.     E poder adicionar reboques para todas as categorias de Veículos ligeiros ou pesados.

    4ª exemplo evitar complicações nas estradas (POR EXPERIÊNCIA PROIBIA);

    1ª - Mostrar limites de peso na rota selecionada, por exemplo, 3.5T, 5T. 10T e tal,
    2ª - Percorrer uma rota selecionada e encontrar uma rua com limite de 3.5 toneladas inferior o nosso veículo.
    
    3ª - Uma ponte de 2.70 metros que tem uma altura inferior o nosso veículo.
    4ª - Uma rua onde e impossível efetuar inversão de marcha devido uma ponte antiga com limite de 2.5 toneladas,
    ou uma estrada muito estreita.

    Seria realmente útil se vocês (Waze) pudessem adicionar as novas funcionalidades de configurações dos veículos no Waze.
    
    Essas alterações na hora certa tornas muito importante nas escolhas das configurações dos veículos para uma viagem segura,
    faria o Waze uma super poderosa ferramenta nas nossas viagens de trabalho - lazer e Férias.
    Que evitava complicações na rota selecionada para poder automaticamente economizar tempo, dinheiro e poupar muita dor de cabeça.

13. Velocímetro

    Posição do velocímetro é prejudicada pela mensagem de ocorrência de "RADAR'.

    A visualização do velocímetro fica prejudicada, ou até mesmo encobertada pela mensagem enorme alertando sobre RADAR'.

    Solução proposta é permitir, nas próximas atualizações, que o usuário escolha a melhor posição do Velocímetro no mapa. Ou que o mesmo
    seja flutuante.

14. Vehicle icons too big

    Car icons way too large since recent update. Makes it extremely difficult to see roads and the general map. Nobody asked for extra large vehicle icons that look so cartoonish...please revert back!

15. Alternate route display should follow the setting for "Keep map north up"

    If "Keep map north up" is off then alternate routes should be displayed with my position at the bottom of the screen.

    This will make it easier to visualise alternate routes relative to my current position.

    Also applies to the app but I'm only able to select one category.

    Cameras are placed in known danger zones.
    Usually the danger is within 100m either side of the camera.
    Sometimes it is not allowed to plot cameras.
    But a general warning - danger zone in 200m - would be useful.

17. Ignore Traffic Option for Real Time Road Closures

    For Real Time Road Closures, please add the option to "Ignore segment traffic". Currently if there is any traffic detected on a Closed segment, the Closure will be put into Suspend mode. This can be problematic since some Waze users choose to ignore a closure, because they can't "see" any backed up traffic due to the closure, and will cause the closure to be paused until enough traffic has been stopped behind the closure and the segment detects no more movement. By then the closure should have been in place warning Waze users well ahead of time to find an alternate route. By having an Ignore Traffic enabled because the map editor knows for a fact a road is closed, will save time for all Waze users.

18. Screensaver

    In Ontario/Canada as per Highway & Traffic Act, it is illegal to use smartphone/device without hands free operation, and police have stated that submitting status info on apps such as Waze is illegal as per Act and grounds for ticket for not driving “hands free”. Fine for doing so (and using Waze) and distracted driving is currently over $600-800 and 3’demerit points.

    Of course I observe police cruisers driving with hands on computer console violating traffic act.

    It would be great to have a screensaver (blank screen or other) that could be quickly toggled on Waze display (phone and/or CarPlay) that displays black screen or other “normal” screensaver/image. Could be an invisible button on area on screen or HOLD button for report, as example. Pressing area again at later time would revert to normal operation

    1. Écoutez RMC avec Google Assistant
       Google Assistant est l'un des assistants vocaux les plus populaires, disponible sur les appareils Android et certains appareils Google Home. Pour écouter RMC, il vous suffit de donner une commande vocale simple. Voici comment faire :
