Report road closures using carplay
Allow us to report road closures when using carplay. I can see this was suggested back in 2019 but still hasn't been actioned. Not only is this helpful in making other drivers aware, it also means i can be given an alternative route when faced with a closure. Currently, if i find a road closure waze becomes unusable as it repeatedly tries to re-route me back to the closed road.

The latest Feb 2024 update made dark mode too dark for daytime use.

Report Road Closure on Apple Car play
The amount of times I get stuck because of a road closure and it will not suggest a new route because I can’t report it! I end up driving miles away for it to update for a new route! Please fix this!!! Sick of getting stuck!

speedometer
Speedometer can be pinned to my phones entire display (during carplay). That way it’s easier to read at a glance. Perhaps what displays on your phone screen when connected to carplay could be fully customisable?

Add estimated battery percentage when arriving at destination (for electric cars)
Via Google Maps in my electric car (Volvo xc 40) I see an estimated battery percentage at arrival. The app is installed on the car itself, not car play. I would love this functionality in Waze.

Reporting hazards with Siri using Apple CarPlay and Waze
Waze has possibility to use Siri shortcuts to navigate home, work or other destinations, as well as setting level of notifications. Please add possibility to report hazards like police, stopped vehicle on the road, road works, traffic etc. Using Siri, this would increase safety dramatically as a driver would not need to touch the screen for that multiple times.

Auto sleep for Waze on iOS
Is there a way to get Waze to auto sleep after use on iOS with Car Play? I use Waze in my car, get out of my car, and it’s still running in the background and actively tracking my location.

Voice Reports for CarPlay iOS/Android
As the title reads, this is a highly demanded feature for the public and users of Waze. While driving and seeing a hazard on the road and trying to tap and report the hazard on the infotainment is dangerous!
Please add voice reports support to CarPlay/Android Auto so we could just say using Siri or Google to report any hazards such as example, "Report Police", "Report Left Lane Blocked", etc!

Be able to correct fuel prices in Apple CarPlay
Before getting a car with Apple CarPlay ( have iPhone Xs Max IOS 16.7.2, Waze v 4.103) I was able to bring up and correct fuel prices of petrol stations I just visited / passed. Now with CarPlay, that option has gone.

Better Apple car play support
I was driving the other day when I had a road closure. I went to report it on the map via Apple Car Play, but I didn’t have all of the options available to me that I needed to make the report and had to disconnect my phone from the car and try to futz with that while driving (dangerous). Please give us the same reporting tools for Apple car play as we have just on the regular version of the app. Also would be nicer to have an easier way to report road closures, as it’s pretty buried/hard to…

Report alerts in Apple CarPlay
When navigating through Apple CarPlay, when the user clicks on an alert, the alert icons automatically appear, but after the user clicks on one of them, more options appear in the form of a list. The user often has to scroll down to find the type of alert, which causes distraction and risk of accidents. Therefore, I ask that you change the format of the second alert screen, leaving it the same as the first, that is, the options next to each other. Thanks.

Better organized CarPlay screen for reporting traffic issues
Describing traffic issues while driving needs to be done quickly, so the driver isn’t distracted too long. I feel at least 20 buttons should be shown on the screen right away to report conditions, instead of 5 that ‘open’ into related scenarios. So 1st column is the 5 most important police issues, the 2nd column is the 5 most important emergency vehicle issues, the 3rd column is the 5 most important crash or stopped vehicle issues, the 4th column is the 5 most important road surface condition issues, and the 5th column is the 5 most important ‘other’ issues.

Waze needs to automatically shut down after leaving vehie
Waze stays open, running and consuming large amounts of data and battery once i have arrived at my destination and left my vehicle. It’s still running when I am walking. I need to manually remember it’s running and shut it down.

Bigger buttons!!!!
The buttons on the carplay screen need to be SO MUCH BIGGER. Newer vehicles have tons of screen space and the "hazard" and "routes" buttons are so small. Make it easier to report things with 1 or 2 clicks at most.

Ajuste no alerta no carplay
No CarPlay, sempre que aparece um alerta cobre o quadro com o tempo restante até o destino de forma que muitas vezes se responde à pergunta "ainda está lá?" confirmando ou negando mas sem saber se a resposta está certa, apenas para poder voltar a ver o quadro com a hora estimada de chegada. Os alertas poderiam ficar acima, sem cobrir o ETA, pois tem espaço e aí as confirmações seriam mais precisas

Close Waze app when CarPlay terminates
This is a simple idea that would have a profound beneficial effect. My phone gets hot in my pocket because I get out of my car and forget that Waze is still running. It gets hot unless I close that app manually after removing it from my car. Just give us an option to close the app upon disconnection from CarPlay. thx

Add a way to put Waze to sleep in Apple CarPlay
If I navigate with Waze in Apple CarPlay, it stays open on my phone and drains my battery unless I remember to go on my phone when I get out of my car and put Waze to sleep. Then the next time I get in my car, Waze starts up even if I don't use navigation and stays on on my phone when I get out of the car, again draining my phone battery. And if while in the car, I put Waze to sleep on my phone or quit the app, it immediately starts up again. This is a…
