Touch screen lock
Lock the screen for unwanted touch. Same as netflix you can lock the touch screen but the video is still playing.
It is importent for bike user when you nevigate in the rain. The drops activate the screen and u have to put plastic bag over the phone .
Would be much easier to just lock the screen same way netflix does2 votes -

Showing slow moving vehicles could remarkably improve road safety for road users as well as for road maintenance personell.

Police reporting needs to be on main map instead of sub-menu
All three police reporting buttons need to be displayed on the main map, since these are the three buttons that you'll use the most. Having to click into a sub-menu and find the button that you need while driving is entirely too distracting while driving. It would be much safer if users were able to simply click the 'police visible', 'police hidden', or 'police - other side' buttons, without having to access a sub-menu.
There are two things that people use Waze for: traffic routing and police reporting. All other things in the reporting sub-menu are extra and can stay…

Musi
There is a wonderful app, called Musi, that plays music directly from YouTube WITHOUT ads. You only pay $7 to remove the onscreen ads, and even then it lasts forever because it’s tied to the account.
Waze has 3 million reviews on the App Store alone.
Musi has 3.3 million.Could we possibly set it up to attach Musi to Waze?

Speeding Threshold up to 30km/h
Selectable speeding threshold in mph is up to 20. In Km/h the same digits (up to 20) are not enough. Should change to up to 30 km/h to conform with higher fine limits in Europe.

Whenever there's a history of incidents reporting to drivers, there's no "Still there " or " Not There " for further update in order to help other drivers

Avoid part of route.
Please add an option to avoid a part of a route that you don't like. For example, if you like the route that Waze choose for you, but there is just one road you don't want to use, put the option to click on that road and have Waze route you around that road. Also add an option to avoid a road block. So if you come up to a road block, just click that button and it will route you around it. Otherwise, this APP is the best GPS I've seen.

Search results not close to my location.
Usually, the first few search results are hundreds or even thousands of kilometres / miles from my location. Search results should default to the closest to me, unless I add more details on the search location, like town/city.

The app pronounces the first syllable of Robersonville, NC, USA as "robe," like a garment a person wears around the house. It's actually pronounced "rob," as in what a thief does. As in "Robbersonville."

Juiste baanvak pijl(en)
Geachte medewerkers,
Is het mogelijk (volgens mij een minimale software aanpassing), om de juiste basnvak welke men moet kiezen een groene kleur te geven in plaats van iets helderder wit. Het iets meer wit is soms moeilijk te onderscheiden en draagt er toe bij dat de weggebruiker zich beter moet concentreren op het navigatiescherm. Dit draagt niet bij aan de verkeersveiligheid.

1-3 physical button for dashboard mounting
I don’t want to use a screen interface to do my critical input reporting (roadside hazards, police). Nor do I want to use voice, which is messy and impractical when traveling with several people in the car. The ideal solution (IMO) would keep people from shifting their eyes to a screen or using their voice in scenarios where they have multiple people (ie kids!) in the car.
Instead, I would love to see either Waze offer a programmable hardware button set that we can map the most important actions to the buttons for easy tactile reporting. If Waze doesn’t want…

block off dangerous area in South Africa
Hi! I have been using your service for few years and absolutely love it but please could you add the feature to block the dangerous area in South Africa as well? I see that this feature is now available in Brazil and Israel but South Africa is known for it's dangerous areas and crimes and I have actually ended up in Alexandra(one of the most dangerous areas in SA) while using Waze and I absolutely freaked out.

Layout
When we get an alert such as Police ahead the response boxes are side by side and difficult to tap the correct one when responding. They need to be end to end so that the correct one can be easily tapped.

Looks childish. I looked at this app 5 years ago and then it was irritating to look at, and nothing has changed. Still childish looking. Is this candy crush, fruit slice or one of those stupid looking games?

Poderiam incluir o aviso de “pista dupla a frente” por exemplo “pista dupla a 300 metros”.
Isso faria com que muitas ultrapassagens fossem desnecessárias, aguardando até achegar a área mais segura para a ultrapassagem. Poderia reduzir o número de acidentes.

להישאר בתאורת יום כאשר מדליקים את אורות הנסיעה ברכב
לאחרונה גרמתם לאפליקציה לעבור למצב לילה כאשר מדליקים את האורות. זו טעות נוראית!!!!
כאשר מדליקים את האורות, המסך של הרכב עובר למצב לילה ומסך הרכב מוחשך. כעת, כאשר גם ווייז עובר למצב לילה, לא ניתן לראות במסך הרכב כלום!!!!
הדבר קריטי בחורף כאשר חייבים להדליק אורות גם כאשר היום שמשי.
ווייז חייב להישאר בתאורת יום ללא קשר להדלקת אורות נסיעה אלא רק לפי שעת הנסיעה, או להפוך את זה לאופציונלי בהגדרות.

Afficher les feux de circulation et les arrets
Je souhaiterais qu Waze tout comme le fait PLAN indique sur le trajet les feux de circulation, les insignes de STOP et si notre destination se trouve à droite ou à gauche. C’est extrêmement pratique .

Traffic Building Up
When traffic is building up while driving on the road, Waze will zoom out suggest a new route... And do nothing. No countdown to reply before it cancels and goes back to not mal navigation, nothing. It just sits there with the suggestion to either change route or go back to current route, and the driver has to press whichever button else you get no navigation with the blocked suggestion screen on top.
This is a road hazard as the driver is forced to choose something to continue, and imagine when it keeps suggesting route changes every few minutes.1 vote
