Bathroom Finder on Route
Have an obvious button and/or a voice command to display (and when selected, route to) public bathrooms along your route. In settings, you should be able to select categories, like "rest area," "gas station or restaurant with restrooms," and distance from route (either in time or miles), etc. in order to establish a default search and display when the "show restrooms" switch is toggled.
1 voteSearch by key words would help here. Just type “Restroom” or “Toilet” and Waze will find the locations nearby.

Add Electric to the Preferred fuel type, which will then display electric charging points on the map.
There is no current option in Preferred fuel type for pure Electric. I would like to have this option, which, when selected, displays electric charging points as POIs for my journeys.

Reporting Buttons
Hi. I have been using Waze successfully for a while now, and find it really great until it comes to reporting. The most reported incidents, I'm guessing, are Roadworks, Accidents, Road Closures and Police.
It would be great if you could put a direct button on the reporting menu for all of the above, as It's hard to get to report roadworks as there are a couple of menus to go through.1 voteBy holding or swiping the Reports button you’re able to bring up the 3 most used report types for faster reports. You’re also able to use voice reporting using Google Assistant.

Mph and metres for directions.
It’s very simple. Two toggle options. To change the speed unit to mph for the speed limit but be able to keep the directions in metres for those shorter turnings and directions in town. In England we use mph and how many miles to but after that we commonly talk about metres. So I am asking for another option so that people can customise the speed limit alerts and the distance to alerts.

General Reminder
I use the child reminder feature to remind me to check parking and to make sure my motorbike is securely locked. Could this reminder be a general reminder instead of only a "Child Reminder"?

Flood warnings & alerts to be added to match local gover warning
Recently hit a flooded road which wasn’t marked in any way in Waze, UK government issues local flooding alerts with affected areas clearly marked & these areas should be reflected accordingly in Waze App

Ojalá que en la próxima actualización se pueda mantener nuevamente en primer plano WAZE al momento de realizar ó recibir una llamada telefónica, esa opción ahora no está y era bien útil, ya que la llamada no interferia al momento de visualizar la pantalla porque ese se mantenía siempre a la vista y la conversacion era por intermedio de altavoz, ahora cuando uno está hablando la pantalla se va a ahorro de energía y se a apaga, se agradecería volvieran a incorporar esa opción. Remove/Change New "Permanent" Bottom Address Bar
Please make the new bottom search bar on navigation screen disappear once you start a trip. Or take it away all together.
It’s blocking too much of the screen.
Sometimes people just want the map without inputting a destination.

Email address change
Currently isn’t possible to change the email address, but the user could have an issue if the email address is no longer available and the account is gong to be recovered and the user doesn’t remind the password.
My suggestion is that Waze permits that the user be able to change the email address after a validation (similar when the mobile number is changed).
3 votesGreat news! This functionality is already available in Waze. You can find it by tapping your profile image in the left panel and select Account&Login. The “Email” field is editable.

Show highway lanes like Sygic
Sygic shows the different highway lanes on a popup to know in which lane to be at the time of exiting, that'd be a great addition

I want waze to pause music or podcast and not talk over it like it used to. Why did they not keep that option?
Before the latest update when waze spoke and you're listening to music or a podcast, it would pause the music and then speak. Now that is no an option. Now it talks over the music. Very annoying. Please bring back that option. Thanks.

Soporte para la navegación - Pico y Placa en Lima, Perú
Estimados Waze,
En vista de la implementación en Lima, Peru, del sistema Pico y Placa (avenidas restringidas en ciertos horarios y dias de la semana, segun el numero de placa), recomiendo que se implemente en el aplicativo una opción para indicar si la placa del auto es par o impar, y segun eso, se evite recomendar rutas que vayan por las avenidas restringidas, durante el horario / día en que corresponda.Muchas gracias!!
65 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already takes license plate restrictions into account, in many parts of the world. To enable this feature, add your license plate details under Settings > Car details > License plate.

Resize directions box while connected to Android Auto
After recent updates, the box displaying directions covers half the screen when connected to Android Auto. Please shrink the box, allow users to move it or resize it. It makes it difficult to see where you are going on the map sometimes.
