Get rid of Google
Cuz Waze juzt plain sucks now. I love it when you give alternate routes and I pick one because I sure as hell know this area better than your AI and I also know what happens when the area has an event. Three times, THREE in 10 minutes I have to pick an alternate route today because your app ignores the route I have picked and sends me right into the area which I am trying to avoid. road ahead preview button
I would like to have an on map button which, on hold or on press, will zoom out the map to show the entire route ahead.
Releasing or pressing again will go back to regular nav mode.
This is great for getting a sense of the route and not having to be constantly alert to input from the client (visual or auditory).

Password Complexity
I would like to be able to use a more complex password. Currently, only three complexity levels are allowed: A, a, and 0-9. This security level is far too vulnerable given the sensitive information with in the app, eg addresses, phone numbers, etc. Please consider allowing several different character useage like punctuation, special characters, ASCII, ect. The modification should not be too difficult. Instead of defining what is allowed in the string just define the string to accept anything with the exception of min-max number of characters.

Could you either add rest stops, or allow us to report rest stops, as well as distance to the next one as reported/displayed?

license plate reporting / review review system for bad drivers
Currently, there is no system of checks and balances for bad or dangerous drivers. If someone is driving recklessly, or dangerously (slamming on brakes, threatening people, road rage) the only recourse is 911, which doesn't always apply and would increase erroneous / wasteful emeergency calls which should be used for more important emergencies.
If the DMV won't listen, then I hope application developers like Waze, or someone else would implement this feature so that bad drivers can be tracked and reported via license plate in a community fashion.
Then hopefully, the DMV will do something and create a review program…

Please add sandstorm to weather report
Recently we have had several sandstorms that affected the drive greatly limiting visibility. I would like to be able to warn drivers or learn of sandstorms on my route.

Do your job
How about you don't mess up and say I'll be home at 2.30pm when I actually got there 3 hours later !! And how about you don't tell me the gas station is 2min off road when it's actually 30!! Ruined my day

Integrate with Glympse!
You offer Foursquare check-in which is great! http://glympse.com/ is a great app that I use often to show people I'm on the way. At any time, they can see where I am and what my ETA is (if destination is set). I see you have MEET UP, which shows current location or destination, but Glympse sends constant updates showing where you are. It's available in Garmin Street Pilot and Navigon now (http://www.glympse.com/partners)!

Add way-point to route via map
Currently it is not possible to select a spot on the map and add it as way-point to the current route. This would be very useful to quickly modify the given route to personal preferences.

Hlášení nebezpečí přes Google Text-to-speach
Když se objeví na trase nebezpečí, tak to hlásí "Na trase je hlášeno nebezpečí". To ale bohužel nestačí, protože nevím jaké nebezpečí mě čeká.
Lepší by bylo převést text na řeč (přes Google Text-to-speach) a říci "Na trase je hlášeno nebezpečí - oprava vozovky" nebo "Na trase je hlášeno nebezpečí - srážka dvou vozidel - zdržení 5 minut".
A podobné rozšiřující informace.

porque não existe um botão "origem" e outro botão "destino" de cara??
Tenho 28 anos, sou um usuário de tecnologia desde criança, já cursei engenharia de computação e concluí engenharia elétrica.. Ou seja, não sou leigo quando o assunto é tecnologia. Sabendo disso quero lhes informar que tive dificuldade quando eu quis simular um percurso de viagem, pois só há um campo de pesquisa que determina o destino e, no meu caso, aleatoriamente o app escolheu um ponto de partida.
Não facilitaria a vida do usuário ter na tela inicial do app dois botões de origem e destino?

Find Stole car,
TODAY, AFTER SEEING AN ASSAULT near a restaurant, where 3 individuals stole a car from a woman, I came up with an idea that could help a lot of people. Why not put a button, next to those of traffic posting, to stolen car, where you would receive on the screen of the waze, the information (PLATE, MODEL AND COLOR) of the stolen car, in the locality that you are in, and if You see the car, could post car in sight, that information would go straight to the police with the location. It would help millions of people.

sharing location even if waze is off makes many people not use it at all... that should change i think ...
Having some companies like google or Facebook in mind i think lots of people will not use waze because it uses your location even when not on. Too be honest - i do not use any app that will use/send any data while not being even activated...
