Be able to place police marker after you have passed
Sometimes I pass an unmarked cop and by the time I’m able to get my phone and place a marker In the app I’m already passed him by a mile. So it would be great if you could place a cop marker by pressing and pin pointing it (same action you use to place a pin on the app just add the option “Police Spotted”) on a specific spot on the map and to stop haters spamming cops everywhere make it so you can only place a marker within the past couple miles of where you have driven. Motorhome and other RV option
Give an option for motorhome and other RV options as a vehicle. They always take longer than a car, avoid low bridges, and weight limited roads. Could add tractor trailers too as an option

Police Helicopter Notice
I’ve been thinking about it, and I believe we could add a new alert for police helicopters. If we mark that we’ve spotted one, the alert should cover a range of several kilometers. I see this as an improvement because, while we might spot the helicopter and mark it as "police," it obviously keeps moving; having the alert cover a larger area would allow us to warn drivers who are further away.

HUD integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
You are a google company. Google Maps has a HUD integration for Apple CarPlay. Why you cant implement that easy in Waze? Would be much better and more safer too use. In some countries Google Maps isnt the best option somehow. I cant even use Apple Maps here. So I love WAZE for using in the country I am living in. But withut HUD its not as safe as it should be, specifically you have it on your sister company already!!!

Add a Skyway On/Off Preference
Add a Skyway On/Off Preference
I would like to suggest adding a Skyway On/Off option in Waze's route preferences.
Currently, there are situations where all available route options use Skyway. While I understand that Skyway is often the fastest route, some drivers intentionally prefer SLEX or other non-Skyway roads, even if the travel time is longer.
The reasons can vary:
To reduce toll expenses.
Personal driving preference.
Familiarity with non-Skyway routes.
Avoiding expressways when not necessary.An optional "Use Skyway" toggle (On/Off) would allow users to choose whether Waze should consider Skyway when calculating routes. When turned Off, Waze could…

On screen most recent feature or shortcuts
When reporting something, the most recent should be on top (ie car on shoulder). Otherwise a list of preferred shortcuts for most used reports, so user doesn’t have to click numerous sub menu buttons.
Having these shortcuts at bottom of map display would be even better.1 vote -
Lexus GX550 on screen icon layout
The hazard icon is on the right bottom of the map screen. In the GX550, due to the size of the screen, this is hard to operate while driving and takes longer eyes of the road time. Move icon closer to the driver.

School Zone
Time based alert of when entering and exiting an active school zone, active at all times even when not navigating, with a speed reduction reflective on the active speed limit sign

Melbourne, Australia - Tram Network
Integrate a setting within the Navigation to avoid roads with Tram lines that run through them. Additionally, when on a road shared with a tram line alert the driver to remain aware of increased foot traffic. Useful in Melbourne Australia

Time Lock on removing Police Alerts
I would like to see in the next update a change to the "Not Here" feature of Police reports. Currently, Police Officers sit in their car with Waze open and spam "Not Here" to trick the algorithim to remove the Police Report. This is in violation of the Community Standards. I propose that Police & Mobile Speed Camera reports be unavailable to be reported as "Not Here" for 2 hours from when the report has been made. Additionally a new report for Alchool and Drug Testing should be made

Instruction Bar
The instruction bar truncates street names even when there is enough available space to display them fully.
In intersections where multiple streets share similar prefixes, this truncation reduces clarity and forces drivers to look for additional details, increasing distraction. Showing the full street name would improve safety and consistency with TTS, which already reads the complete name. The navigation bar has sufficient unused horizontal space, so a dynamic extension of the text (based on name length) could be implemented without affecting map visibility or requiring major UI changes. This small adjustment would significantly improve user experience in real driving scenarios.1 vote -
Sleep-/Awake - Mode Apple/Android shortcut
A shortcut to set the app in a sleeping (and awake-) mode, so it doesn’t use any data/gps so we don’t have to close it manually every time we’re stepping out the vehicle.
This way, you can set a shortcut like: when connecting to car bluetooth -> wake up Waze. When disconnecting from car bluetooth -> set to sleep mode.With that shortcut we could leave the app open in the background and don’t need to start/end it manually every time

Please stop throwing up screen notifications during drive
It's great there's a new voice functionality but please stop telling me about it during a drive!! It's happened numerous times now and I can't touch my phone (risk a fine) but also can't see the navigation anymore. Very frustrating. I'm don't find voice functionality useful personally so I am not opting to turn it on - however it seems I'll be dogged with this frustrating situation on each drive unless I do?? Please stop, I like WAZE and would continue to use it but this makes that impossible to not have to switch elsewhere. This is dangerous!!

spaced instructions
Instead of saying, "at the roundabout take the 3rd exit, then at the roundabout take the second exit then turn left" which are three separate instructions all given at once, how about do the following?
"At the roundabout take the 3rd exit",
Silence until the turn
"At the roundabout take the second exit then prepare to turn left"
Silence till appropriate distance from left turn.
"Turn left at .... street"
That way the brain isn't forced to decipher a barrage of nearly similar instructions while doing the other twenty things necessary for safe driving.1 vote -
