add/pin top 3 reports of most frequently used reports
having to click into three different report types, then groups and subgroups just to let other wazers know there’s a car on the shoulder is distracting and takes more attention away from the road than i’d like it to. it’s actually a bit of a deterrent in some ways. i love using waze and i appreciate the contribution others make to my safety as a driver and i’d like to be able to reciprocate, but that can be really hard for me to do when i have to take my eyes off the road for 10 seconds to submit a…

Route with less traffic even if it takes longer
I hate stop and go traffic. I don't mind a longer travel if it means avoiding stop and go traffic.
Please add option to take alternate route that avoids heavy traffic even if it takes like 10 minutes longer. User should be able to set how much longer.

Ability to add obstructions offline
Wish there was a way to add (eg, road closures) offline - currently it seems the only way to do it is to actually drive there until the triangle button appears on the screen. Trying to warn everyone as a closed road is currently showing as roadworks/closed lane.

Pois eles traficam com outras velocidades, nas cidades e estradas;
Têm limites de altura;
Ruas proibidas para o veículos pesados;
Horário para transitar dependendo da cidade.

Map direction color
it would be a good idea to have a different color route where we’re taking compared to the route around us. Sometimes it’s very confusing what route we’re supposed to take. Both are usually purple . Ours should be like a cyan color compared to the routes in the map.

Leave the overview map on the screen until I change it.
In Google Maps, when I get to the Overview Screen, it stays on the screen and slowly zooms in until I get to my destination. In Waze, the Overview Screen only stays for a few seconds, then reverts to the basic navigation screen. Please make Waze more like Maps and let me keep the Overview Screen on the display until I change it!

avoid congestion
It would help if Waze offered alternative routes that while took a few minutes longer, avoided heavy hectic traffic and congestion. I would gladly spend a few more minutes in smooth cruising than dealing with thick hectic combative traffic. Waze now seems to only offer the most congested route.

Vehicle NOT “car” on side of road
Recent changes to the hazard reporting system has it calling a vehicle on the side of the road always a car, but the majority of the time it’s not a car it seems. Why did it change from vehicle on side of road to car on side of road? It’s like the folks at Waze have never seen a truck.

North up changes desperately needed
I am trying to use Waze with the map displayed in the direction I’m actually going, North Up, Because with the map always moving what is actually North to just keep my direction always going towards the top of the screen one loses all perspective on where things are. When one would read a paper map one would always keep the map north up, that way you could always learn your relative position to other places. Can you set the speed "over limit warning" in the speedometer so that it plays the audible warning every time I exceed the speed limit ?
Can you set the speed "over limit warning" in the speedometer so that it plays the audible warning every time I exceed the speed limit? I'm asking because I've been using Waze to get around Bologna since they added the 30km zone and it's very useful to me. I'm asking you because it only plays the warning the first time and then for a stretch of the road it doesn't play it again, maybe it's set like this so as not to be annoying but I really need it to ring every time. Recognise when I’m behind a very slow moving vehicle and offer a New route around this vehicle
I suggest adding a feature that detects when I'm driving much slower than the speed limit on a road. The app could then ask if I'm in heavy traffic or behind a very slow-moving vehicle. If it's the latter, like being stuck behind a garbage truck making frequent stops, the app could suggest alternative routes to bypass the slow vehicle and reach my destination faster.

Indicate open lanes at a crash
When ppl indicate a crash let them indicate which lanes are kept open, it will let drivers safely move to the correct lane farther back, alleviating lanes changes close to the crash (in thicker traffic). It will also give more incentive for ppl to use Waze.

Low clearance feature
There should be a feature that allows you to select routes for oversized trucks- tractor trailers keep getting stuck in the sumner tunnel or moving trucks on storrow drive all the time!! This is Boston MA but I’m sure other places could benefit too

Large RV and Trucks
Please consider adding large RV and trucks many routes have sharp turns and low bridges. You can charge $3 per month and gain hundreds of thousands of users. I’d happily promote this service for you
