Have a “favorites” section to store names with their addresses so we don’t have to look up the address every time. .
Have a “favorites” section where we can store names with their address to keep from having to add the address every time. I like using Waze even if I know where I’m going because my way may not be the fastest way that day.

List Routes that avoid freeways as an regular option especially if it faster
There should an automatic option for routes to at avoids freeways as the ones that use highways/ freeways. Sometimes due to traffic, the route that avoid freeways is the faster route. Currently in order to request that I have to click avoids and the again click on other option to pick avoid freeways. Ideal would be an automatic route that notes ( avoids freeways). If you are unable to have that option pop up as one of the route options ( which other GPS sites offer) then at least place the option to Avoid freeways in the first box that…

Accurate hazard/accident location
It would be nice if when reporting an accident or hazard that your able to specify which lane on the highway the accident or hazard is located.

Finding the nearest safe place to stop
Please add a feature that allows the user to find the nearest safe place to stop. Sometimes you need to make an emergency stop but prefer to keep driving a few minutes if there is a safer place to stop, like a gas station or a wide safety margin. Finding a safer place to stop could save a life.

I’m a freshly Energy Engineer from Madrid that have been using Waze since years ago.
This app si awesome and I’m thinking always about how to improve the commercial side of the Waze community.

Fix catout android
Good night, I recently changed my phone, I thought that this problem had already been solved. This is not even a problem, but a defect that is already more than 3 years old, that’s for sure. But the drawback is that the cutout in the application does not read and a black background is simply superimposed, and not like in Google maps, for example, everything is fine and calm. Creating a Metro/Subway version to the app. The subways apps tend to be out of date or not in active real time for delays. You guys add the human element of “station a has 10 confirmed delays” and this line will be impacted.

In Bulgaria Policeman use waze to unmark their position.

Allow decimal points in House Numbers
Alphabetic characters and slashes are now allowed in House Numbers, which is a huge step forward. Unfortunately, decimal points are still not allowed. This is a problem in Puerto Rico where rural addresses are often based on kilometer posts. A rural address in Puerto Rico might look like "km 17.1 Calle Marginal". Allowing decimal points would be very helpful. Other areas might benefit from other special characters being allowed.

Help the less fortunate in a cash free society
In South Africa we have a lot of street beggars, traffic light sellers and car guards that we often get to know well traveling the same routes every day and we want to give them a small donations of change but so often these days people don’t have cash or change on them. It would be great if these people could register for the place they stand and list what they need, blankets food etc. then when you drive past the people they are geotagged and their face pops up on your map with a donate button. Parking spaces available in car parks in real time
Several cities around the world have a real-time feed of available spaces in their parking lots.
It would be really relevant to be able to have it in Waze so that we can be guided directly to the city center or bus/tram hub. Currently Waze allows you to get around perfectly, but concretely, once you arrive in town, it does not help you to park, so the purpose is not achieved in a certain way. It’s also a matter of sustainability. Waze should help for less time and gaz wasted.
