Please consider adding Waze to the Ford sync App Link.

Ford annnouned today 1/5/17 a new SYNC screen projection technology for navigation apps, and incorporation of this into WAZE would allow WAZE to have an 8" screen!!! This would be much SAFER than trying to manipulate WAZE on a cell phone..

The announcement stated they already had a commitment from Sygic, and WE all know WAZE is much better!!! Be a leader, Stay a leader.... Work with Ford to incorporate this technology, PLEASE...

Please add integration with Ford sync. The nav in my 2015 edge sucks

I agree although Sync had a nav display, I overwhelmingly prefer to use Waze and although can hear directions through Sync, I would love to be able to display Waze on my nav screen, even if I had to control it from my iPhone. Waze is the only thing that can keep up with the almost weekly changing construction changes here in Dallas, TX.
The only Sync nav feature I would like to see added to Waze is the intersection and exit lane directional arrows.
I know this will require some coordination between companies but it would make my dream car 200% perfect.

New Ford Cmax owner. I can set the climate with my voice but can't use apps on applink? It's a bizarre marriage of both amazement and udder frustration with Microsoft Sync. However I did find you can sync multiple Bluetooth devices. Example work phone running waze with voice prompts on for roadway hazards etc. Then personal phone for calls, podcast. Alternatively I found a tab4, 7" in a case is a decent fit for touchscreen replacement I bought a grip pad and cut two strips off I use for top and bottom. Works great. I use voice for sirius, phone whatever else. Downside is charger doesn't fit while in place of screen. I've ordered a flat 90 degree forward thin cable to fix that. It would be nice however to use Google now for voice control that's contextual and personalized and choose apps the supplied 8 in touchscreen with all my diagnostic information in house example being Waze . Silly running things twice. The car has a USB WiFi option however can't seem to get one to work. (haven't tried more than 3 USB options, haven't looked up supported brands, haven't found it necessary so it's probably user error) Anyways damn ADHD, Waze plus Sync = happy user in Austin TX.

Yes, I do have a Sync-equipped Ford. The point here is that I, and probably other lurking Ford/Lincoln Wazers, have a GPS receiver sitting unused in the car that could take the strain off of the phone.

Very nice, but do you have a ford for waze to test this on? There are also other bluetooth options available to read data off a car's CAN network
