FORMA DE PREVENÇÃO DE PONTOS DE CONGESTIONAMENTO.
Como prevenção do trânsito, poderia ser estudada uma forma de fazer uma aplicação para prever os pontos de congestionamento baseado em informações de usuários que enviariam a uma central o trajeto que irá utilizar e o horário previsto de saída. O sistema cruzaria as informações e detectaria os pontos de gargalo, e daria sugestões de mudança de horário ou trajeto como retorno aos usuários.

In rush time in large cities Waze must calculate how distributed vehycles in order to avoid trafic caused by waze followers.

currently there are two main options to choose a route, the quickest by time or the shortest by length. during my drive to work in the morning I find myself stuck in a traffic jam no matter which option I choose. it might be beneficial to add another option, the one with the least traffic jams (highest avg speed) - I don't mind traveling five/ten more minutes, or 10/15 Km more, if it is while driving/moving and not while standing in a traffic jam. would appreciate such an option

For my normal daily routes I _DO_NOT_NEED_ turn by turn instructions. I already know the way. I drive those routes every day. But it sure would be nice if waze understood where I was headed and tried to suggest an alternate route if trouble is brewing on my normal route.

So this is like alternate route advice w/out turn by turn instructions.

There HAS to be a No-Traffic-Jam-Button!
It happens really often that I drive on the highway and there is no Traffic-Jam anymore! I want to report to waze that there is no traffic-jam anymore!!

In addition to fastest/shortest, add a non-congested option.

Sitting in traffic can be very tiring and if you are already tired, say after work, you'd rather drive a little longer, but w/o the hassle of traffic jams. The shortest route doesn't solve this, as the shortest route can take significantly longer.

The implementation would be trivial, too: the routing server will still do the faster route, except it will never route through any segments that are currently showing any kind of congestion.

When an accident or stand still traffic has been reported on your route, on a highway - recommend an exit and reentry point ahead of time to avoid sitting in heavy congestion or missing an exit opportunity.

It seems to me that the preferred route learned by Waze between home and work do not take traffic jam into consideration, this is not optimized.
I would suggest that Waze show the preferred route (with traffic jam) but let us choose 2 alternate routes, ideally one on each side of the current route.

I am a bit hazy about the fastest and shortest route. Many times both options give similar times, but use different streets. Basically all I want is a route without any traffic and will get me there moving all the time. It would be nice to have the option for a fast, traffic free, and eco route.

Currently, the client allows for routing "shortest" or "fastest" routes.

Please add the option to choose "most/least popular routes" as well, to either travel the road most used by locals, or avoid congestion by choosing the least used route to the destination.
