Option to automatically disable WiFi
When transitioning from WiFi to 3G or vice versa, Waze often loses a connection and becomes useless, requiring us to restart the app. I imagine this would be a problem for anyone who drives by a wireless network that they use often (home, work, school, etc.) This could be avoided by giving the user the option to automatically disable WiFi connections within Waze. This option would prevent users from having to disable WiFi before starting Waze every time.
Great thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

This is so bad on my phone I frequently have to restart my phone. Restarting the app doesn't seem to be good enough most of the time.

It would also be nice to have an option to automatically enable Bluetooh. Android auto has both these options, but it is not possible to use Waze with AA in the mobile app (without a head unit).

I like this idea. I was searching for a way to disable waze from using Wi-Fi while driving. It is such a pain in the butt when it is trying to recalculate a route and ways picks up a weak Wi-Fi signal. A fix would be most welcome.

This is probably impossible with iOS devices that aren't jailbroken. However I'd really, really like that option for my Android phone.

The other day I noticed this, as I started waze in my driveway, which was still hooked to my home wifi, and when I drove away, it went to no connection, but then after about 2-3 minutes, it "regained" network connection (3G), and rerouted me automatically. I wouldn't have known about this if I had shut down, and restarted, but I couldn't because I was already driving.
