Other Side Reporting
You used to have "Other Side of Road" for reporting. It was AWESOME and I used to report vehicles on the other side on the shoulder, and appreciated getting the notification about that. It's only available with the Police now; please bring that back. Why did you take it away?
Thank you for your suggestion!
This suggestion will not be implemented for the time being. Adding more and more options to reporting, especially for less popular types of reports such as other side which will also require another window/card, is not something we are aiming for at the moment. Please be aware that other side reporting is already available by voice using the Google Assistant! We believe investing in voice can create essentially a better and more scalable experience and we hope to bring it to more languages soon.
Stay tuned for more features and updates on Waze’s social pages on Facebook and Instagram.

Accidents, police, construction; removal of other/opposing traffic reporting a huge mistake.
Make it work and implement it. -

Other side informations removed was a bad desicion. Since Waze was sold to Google it has lost its caracter.
All oid inventions go away with the giants getting involved.
A reason why companies shouldnt get to big.
Soon i will abandon waze. Makes no sense anymore. -

99% of my reports were for other side. 4.5.0.1 lost many features including this one. Now it degraded itself to all competitors.

big mistake to remove. The app is to help drivers and 50% of this involves the other side of the road.

Please bring it back. Sitting in car watching traffic jam on other side and can't report it. Very frustrating.

Drove London to Penzance and passed 14 unreported stopped vehicles (including 4 lorries) on the other side, plus I regularly drive down the M3/A331 and see heavy traffic and stopped vehicles - it is frustrating to know that I can't report these hazards to other drivers

Will this ever be added again?! Nowadays user report incidents in oncoming traffic aswell but it always end up on the wrong side instead of sometimes before with the problem with separated lanes that never was an issue here in Sweden. This really made Waze much much worse I'd say as a very frequent user of Waze.

I agree with the many recent comments .You are often aware of the traffic incidents as you pass ,with a MORE accurate view than traffic approaching from same direction

I use Waze religiously, sometimes to the major annoyance of my friends and family. But now, even they question why I am not reporting hazards in the opposite direction, but I am reporting police. If there is no problem reporting Police on the other side, why are you not able to report objects, stalled cars, hazards, etc. on the other side? A bubble is a bubble.

I completely agree. I see traffic or accidents/hazards all the time on the other side but can no longer report it. What a waste. The old version used to have it and it was amazing.

Hazards on the SHOULDER isn't quite enough information in some circumstances. On divided roads with a medial there are TWO shoulders, left and right, and sometimes a grass MEDIAN as well.
Posting such information in the COMMENTS is ok but troublesome and time consuming. How about some help here, DEVS?? You guys seem to make magic happen with just about everything else!!

Being able to report hazards and traffic on the other side of the road was helpful to ME and the other drivers on that side.
It helped me stay alert and engaged on long drives, and it helped the other side by reporting things they may not have been able to see as well as my side could see. Also, if there was a sudden hazard and drivers on the other side were having to take evasive action or contend with suddenly changing speed or lane changes, they could not report safely or timely.I strongly request you BRING IT BACK for hazards, PLEASE.

I observed a vehicle stopped on the road...boy, did I want to report that! A report could prevent an accident or even save someone's life...but, you took it away! Why? I'm not sure what sort of thinking would lead anyone to conclude removing that feature was a good idea. So restore the ability to report things that are happening on the other side and do it soon. For now, I'm just reporting them on the wrong side (the only side I can report on), which doesn't really help anyone very much.

'Other Side' reports prevent accidents. You need to return this feature for hazards e.g. Car stopped in the lane!

Other Side Reporting was a great feature. I've been able to warn oncoming traffic about "blown" tires and other hazards in the past. I'm sorry that feature is gone. Please reinstate the feature.
