Other Side Reporting
You used to have "Other Side of Road" for reporting. It was AWESOME and I used to report vehicles on the other side on the shoulder, and appreciated getting the notification about that. It's only available with the Police now; please bring that back. Why did you take it away?
Thank you for your suggestion!
This suggestion will not be implemented for the time being. Adding more and more options to reporting, especially for less popular types of reports such as other side which will also require another window/card, is not something we are aiming for at the moment. Please be aware that other side reporting is already available by voice using the Google Assistant! We believe investing in voice can create essentially a better and more scalable experience and we hope to bring it to more languages soon.
Stay tuned for more features and updates on Waze’s social pages on Facebook and Instagram.

Since "The Other Side" option has been removed in the Camera & Hazard button section, reporting has become more difficult. Please recommend that the button be added back. Am not impressed with the button modifications with the new upgrade. Definitely not an improvement.
Also, since were at it, it would be helpful on divided highways that are 4, 5, 6, or more lanes wide on each side that when you indicate that a vehicle is on the shoulder that you be able to state that it is on the right or left shoulder. -

Maybe "bring it back" isn't what is really needed. But the capability, properly implemented to deal with divided highways and two-way roads is absolutely needed. It is so much easier to report stuff on the opposite side when you aren't dealing with it yourself.

Really waze?
https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1362761#p1362761You Devs are f**ktards. FIX THE PROBLEM RATHER THAN REMOVE IT ALL TOGETHER! And how the in F**K does it still work for "police" but not for the other side of the road?
Stupid and retarded are negative words for a reason, and right now they aren't strong enough for the DEV's seeing at how pissed off people are at the DEVs for failing to FIX the issues.

Why would you not want to report hazards and traffic on the other side? Users on the other side of the road normally see an issue before those about to run into the problem. Not being able to report "other side" takes a big chunk of the "together" out of the "Outsmarting traffic, together".

Other side reporting a 'Hazard' vehicle stopped on shoulder or road can save lives, or objects/animals from causing major damage. Please bring it back with the other side option for Hazards. Sure I've helped many drivers from being slammed into on rainy days when cars have been sitting on the freeway and no one had reported them yet.

I do not live in a major metropolitan area and there are relatively few Wazers in the area (I assume this because I very frequently get "Thanked" by the same users). Therefore I feel it's important that we can report issues on the both sides of the road we are travelling.
Thanks for your consideration.

Other side was never working on one way segments such as highways in Waze map, so it is useless

I wish they would as well, though I wish it worked properly for split freeways. They're treated as separate 1-way roads, so that if someone reported an incident on the opposite direction of a freeway, it would eventually revert the report to this side, leading to a lot of faulty entries.

it is a great feature, it should be available for all kind of reports, that's a good way to improve the app
