Movable speedometer
Hold your finger on the speed gauge to move the speed gauge to a suitable location on your screen.
This would be very useful especially on a tablet or phones with big screens.
Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

As a user, I want a choice in the speedometer options location on the screen.
Possible options (top right corner, top left corner, bottom left corner) -

Speedometer shows on the left side of screen when plugged into Chevy vehicles with CarPlay. The CarPlay menu stays up on the left hand side and hides the speedometer now.

En la nueva versión, el velocímetro está a la izquierda y queda oculto debajo de la barra de menú de CarPlay. Sugiero que añadáis la posibilidad de configurar la posición del velocímetro en sus opciones de visualización.

I would like to have the speedometer at the left side of my screen. I have to move my head to the right to ser the speed egen I drive. (LHD). Would be nice to choose what side of the screen the speedometer is on. (On Android auto).

זה ממש יעזור שניתן יהיה להזיז את מד המהירות בוייז ב APPLE CAR PLAY
לעיתים זה ממש מציק שמד המהירות נמצא בצד ימין למעלה... במקום לדוגמא בצד שמאל למטה וכו'.. שכל אחד יוכל לבחור היכן הוא רוצה שהוא ימוקם -

Please move the speed indicator to top left of screen so lowering of eyes will be less. Perhaps it could be an option.

I have my phone mounted just above the radio in my car. When using waze on my phone in landscape mode I cannot see the speed indicator as is it completely blocked by my hand. I have to either lift my hand off the wheel or move my entire upper body to the right to see around my hand/the wheel.
I think we, the users, should be able to move buttons on the mobile device map around to the locations we want them to better suit individual vehicle setups. Either add options of preset locations or let the user put each button (mostly the reports, speed indicator, music, etc) where they would like.

Hi Developer Crew! I need my Waze to show the speedometer above the road-report button. It may not be good for everyone. Therefore, it need to be optional in the settings menu. See You next update ;)

An option to move the speed limit icon to a different location on my phone because at the bottom left my hand on the steering wheel blocks my view of it. If it were higher on the screen I wouldn’t have to move my hand to check the speed limit.

On Apple CarPlay the Speedo is on the top left corner of the screen. This location suits left hand drive cars but in a right hand drive cars the speedo needs to be in the top right hand corner of the Apple CarPlay screen, closer to the drivers eye.
A Left/Righthand drive option, to optimise the on screen location of menu items to better suit the different driver positions. -

Allow users to edit their ui so that different indicators, such as speedometer, can be placed in different corners for convenience.

On a lot or android auto the screen is in a Power position and the speedometer in the Botton or screen make user to move eye on a very low Place... This is too much distracting from the real street. Too risky!

Yes!!!!! My steering wheel blocks that corner of the screen!! Would be great to be allowed to move screen widgets like you can on many First Person Shoooter games on phones

For us Android Auto users, could you add the ability to swap the speedometer to the left side of the screen and maybe make the size adjustable as well? I live in Alaska and when I switch to my winter tires, the car speedometer is a bit off so I rely on the Waze speedo for a more accurate reading. It'd be much easier and quicker to glance at if I had the ability to swap it to the left side.
