Daily notifications to go to work (without putting it on my calendar). Recurring planned drives!

Like most of people, I have a regular work schedule, my commute to work is always the same time and route. I do not have to check my navigation app every morning, but when something unusual happens on my route, I think I should be notified.

Most of us are using navigation apps when traveling, or going somewhere for the first time. But most of our driving time is commuting to work. We should be able to program our commuting times and routes in these apps for whatever schedule we have. If we are driving fide days a week from home to work, our phone should know it. Most of all, if there is traffic or road work on our way, waze should ring an alarm to wake you up earlier or to prevent getting in this traffic.

Most days our driving time is about the same, so you do not have to check your navigation app every morning or every night. Our phone should only alert us when something unusual happens that would prevent us being on time.

Found this when googling if it was an option. Please add it!

You guys already have the feature to set traffic and "when to leave" notifications for future trips, but I think it'd benefit people who go to work the same time every day to be able to set multiple days all in one steps instead of having to go in and set a new one for each day of the week. Currently, you have to set each day of the week separatelt if you have a route to the same place each day, which is tedious.

Must have option. Daily commute. Let us know when we must leave. Perhaps an option to try to get us three a few minutes early wouldn't be bad... Lol. Work schedule flexibility would be awesome.

This is a definite must....

Due to being a shift worker I don't leave for work everyday at the same time. I would like for Waze to be able to add a repeat function for selected dates in the forthcoming week in the planned drives section. This will then allow both 9-5 workers & shift workers plan their journey.

1) When you input a Planned Drive you should be able to see the time you should be leaving for the first POI.

I understand why it wouldn't for the other ones in addition to the first POI because it is based on location but the first planned drive should have an indicator of what time you should leave in the bar that states how long it says it will take. Otherwise you have to constantly click into edit time arrival and see what time you should leave. If anything if you setup a definite start location it should for sure show the time you should leave.

2) You should be able to just swipe to delete a planned drive instead of clicking through.

3) There should be an alarm setting so you can choose in addition to when you should leave but also 30 minutes before for those that like to be cautious.

4) Calendar sync should have the options for weekly update, monthly update because once you have that sync on you can't delete a planned drive without it resyncing and recreating that planned drive after you go through the hassle of deleting a bunch of planned drives.

Could you make it so I can post a recurring drive into the scheduled drives section? This would be great to get alerts for traffic between my home and my kid's school in the mornings and work to my kid's school in the afternoons. Thanks!

100% agree. Would love this. I go the same place, at the same time, 5 days a week.

There's already an idea for recurring planned routes. Please look there.

Not only does there need to be recurring options, but the reminders and notifications need to be better. We should get pinged from an hour or two out when we need to leave prior to the time and then maybe 15 and 5. I am not even sure if notifications work when the app is closed.

The Planned Drive is a great feature but how about making it possible to select a reoccurring drive.
For example, I want Waze to notify me on the best time to leave for work every Monday through Friday with a set arrival time of 7:30am.

Love the planned routes but you need a setting for mon-fri instead of today/tomorrow. I don't want to set it everyday
