Waze to initiate pre-determined reply to texts when driving
I want waze to initiate a pre-determined text reply automatically when I am driving, note automatically, so it switches on and off according to when I am driving using Waze. I would set my reply to say: "I'm driving at the moment so please call me as I can't read your texts but can speak to you using bluetooth. This text has been sent to you by Waze navigation app."

Actually, after someone suggested Tasker to do this, through that I found a simpler Android App called SMS, my Car and Me. It turns on when I put my bluetooth earpiece on, reads any texts, emails, and more which come in, which I have selected to be read through the bluetooth device and it also sends a text back to the sender, whatever you have predetermined. £3.29. It is easy to set up and has quite a lot of options. 'Tasker' can do many things, but 'SMS my car and me' was what I needed for Text handling while driving.

I would even pay for this feature if I can custom compose the auto reply. It would need to be kept as an option, and auto detect driving by gps movement.

It's be great if there was an option for Waze to reply to a text message that "I'm sorry but "name" is driving right now. They will reply when they aren't distracted." or something like that.

Current apps for safe texting behavior are poor or are heavy battery drains while accessing GPS navigation features. Safe texting feature would put Waze far ahead of other navigation options while making driving safer for users.
