Sounds needs to be better than what it currently is (tiny blip)

This!! I would like the ability to select a “police” siren sound instead of a tiny blip. Or let me choose an mp3 or iPhone alert sound. Plus, I’d like an option where the size of the speed limit in the display takes over the majority of the screen when not using directions as I’m using it mostly for speed limit reminder saving me a ton of money each year — adhd

Add Speeding threshold alert below speed limit when we are reaching near the speed limit. So that we can aware and control the speed. For example if the speed limit is 70 mph on highway, and i am on my speed and if i crossed 70 mph and then waze alert me. But then there is no benefits of alerting. Because if there is any camera then definitely i will get ticket. So best is you add the option that when we want to be alert before reaching maximum speed limit. For example if speed limit is 30, then i want speeding threshold at 28 or 29mph. If speed limit is 70 then i want speeding threshold alert at 68 or 69mph. So that we don’t get ticket. It will be very helpful for everyone. You developed best map application in the world. Thank you for that.

Waze should ALWAYS provide an audible/sound alert when you are approaching a speed camera, of any kind, when you are driving above the speed limit.

PLEASE HAVE WAZE GIVE CONTINUAL ALERTS WHEN SPEEDING,AND TO STOP ONLY WHEN THE VEHICLE GOES UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT

We need this, I got a ticket because the alert wasnt lound enough. I would add a constant sound alert while in overspeed and inside a control area. Plz this would be a huge improvement !

Now, when speeding, the alarm is triggered once, at the moment of speeding. The speed may increase further, but the alarm will no longer sound. This is very inconvenient. You may accidentally miss this signal and not notice that you are speeding.
I PROPOSE:
I propose to add an option with a slider (for those to whom this option will be useful), which will work according to the following principle. When speeding appears, a sound should appear, which will sound until the speed is reduced to normal. Moreover, if the speed increases, the tone of the sound and its volume will increase as the speed increases.

Please enable voice to alert wazers to check their speed limit either when they are nearing 5km or the wazer can choose amongst various speed limits when exceeding the required speed limit or at speed limit instead of a beep sound, which will catch the attention of the driver more easily, for example: "Check your speed limit"

For example as it's already the case at the moment, a voice speaks saying " Police reported ahead" is a very nice way of alerting the driver and it works great, i personally love it.

Thank you for all the amazing improvements brought to the app, it's really helping us a lot, big up to the whole team, hopefully we get to use this update as soon as possible.

I agree, what use is a speed limit alert if you dont notice it?

Would it be possible to have a repeat speed warning sound in the app, which gives a selected sound warning when going over the speed limit by a selected amount, and then repeats at a selected interval.

Currently the speed warning sound is so quiet, it can hardly be heard, it cannot be changed, and does not repeat.

Speed alert is not effective.. The speed alert notification sound need to be improved. The current speed alert sound is not enough loud and noticeable. Need an option to enable continues alert sound untill I reduce speed to the speed limit.

Firstly, I have to say that I am not prepared to use another navigation app other than Waze, you guys rock!

I often drive in areas where I do not know the speed limit. I use the "Alert when speeding" option all the time and rely on it heavily to stay within the required limit. The current functionality gives me an audible alert when I exceed the limit but it is just one sound. Speeding is not just when you drive too fast but also often happens when you enter an area where the limit is suddenly reduced from e.g. 100km/h to 60km/h. Once I hear the single speed alert then in order for me to slow down to the limit, I have to keep on looking at the app to see when I have slowed down enough to get back under the limit causing me to take my eyes off the road. I would call the current functionality the discreet mode.

I would like a persistent mode where the app will keep on beeping at me constantly once I am exceeding the speed limit until I have slowed down enough to get under the speed limit. That way I can keep my eyes on the road and rely on the sound to guide me back to the correct speed, this mode would make it safer as I can stay focused on the road while I slow down until I am back under the speed limit, because with WAZE it's all about the voice baby. Users can then choose to have a discreet mode or a persistent mode when they activate the speeding alert setting. Also please note that the voice prompted directions should take priority over the persistent speed alert as I would not like to miss my turn, need I say more?

It would be great to be able to change the audible beeps, dings and click sounds to other sound effects, or potentially even making use of the phones ability to record sounds or voices and apply those as the alerts tones or voices instead. Many of the allerts sounds, including the exceeding speed sound are simply too quiet.

Make Speed Alert sound volume and regularity adjustable. It's hard to hear it going off if yo go over the limit. It also only warns you once when you go over the limit so if you over the limit again you don't get an audible warning.
