Some of the voices we feature are promotional, meaning they are only available for a limited time.
We offer special voices for holidays, events, and just for fun.
You can use these for the length of the promotion. When the promotion ends, your voice will reset to the default and the voice will no longer appear in the Sound menu.

We hope that you enjoyed the voice while it was available and can’t wait to share more exciting voices to come!

Want to try another voice?

Tap Menu and tap the Settings wheel.
Tap Voice & sound.
Tap Voice Language and select the voice you’d like to use.

    I would pay if Keith Morrison & less generic voices were made available!
    Plz bring Morrison back!
    Lester Holt & Josh Mankiewicz would be a great addition.
    Maybe Jason Mammoa in English a Dothraki accent

    please bring madea voice back, she's performing her farewell tour as we speak and she's retiring, we need her back in our cars to help get us to our destinations as we are traveling the highways!!!!!

    pls introduce audio packs for navigation in ur maps..... I would love to hear my navigation instructions from celebrity voices like Morgan Freeman, Kevin Conroy, Leonardo Dicaprio, Jennifer Lawrence etc.... I would pay money too for these audio packs.

    It would be a great revenue source. #RevenueSource

    I miss this voice on my GPS so badly! It was my absolute most favorite. I wish Waze would bring it back permanently. All the other voiceovers offered can’t even compare to Tyler Perry’s Medea. Waze please bring back my Medea!!!!

    Uninstalled Waze just to get Madea's voice thinking it was a new feature. Re-installed Waze and no, there either.

    If I need to I would be willing to pay s reasonable flat fee to be able to keep some of the promotional voices that you have offered. And why don't you really offer those voices anymore.

    One of the Main reason for getting waze was the madea voice. What happen or how do i get it back?

    I got the Waze app partly because Tyler Perry’s voice as Madea makes me laugh! After downloading and activating the app, I found where I can choose the voice, but it does NOT give me Madea’s voice as a choice. WHY?!
