Move (Install) to SD Card (Android)
I would like to be able to move waze to my SD card. I have 2.2, but my phone does not have enough internal storage for all my apps. It would be awesome if I could move this to my SD since it is one of the larger apps.

Found this old suggestion and decided it needed some love as I was about to come and post something similar.
We really need the tiles for the route to be cached while the route is active, and also record GPS track so that if cellular reception is lost routing still works, and when reception comes back, the GPS track can be sent to the servers for traffic reporting etc.

storage>emulated>0>waze gets loaded with sound and pictures. I have to delete to install updates. If it could go to the SD card I have plenty of space.

I have only started to use Waze, and I have "moved the app" to SD card. Yet many files remain on the phone's own storage (28 MB and growing). These could be moved to the SD card. Please provide option to users to store all this data on SD card (just as many other apps do).

I need a Waze SD card for my GPS. It would be great if I could get one to use in my portable GPS I use in my car.

Waze works great when there's a mobile signal, even when there isnt - up the distance of the route that's been cached locally.
In this day of 64gb SD Cards etc being very common, Id suggest caching the route even further ahead.
Perhaps even to the extent that the cached route is only over written when a complete new route has been cached?
I've had the cached route run out a few times, especially in "open places" like Wales!

A better way to do it would be split the android app into two parts one for the widget/boot the other for the main app so we can move the app to the sd card.
