Commute Mode
I would love to be able to set up a commute with stops. Maybe ask a few questions like:
How many stops do you have on your commute (kid drop off, passenger pick up for carpooling, coffee)?
Does your destination ever change? Be able to have different commute profiles.
Then ask how long you are at each stop normally.
If it is the normal route, then it will only warn you of traffic slows or hazards.
Bonus- If I am running late, set up someone to notify, husband or daycare provider ect.
Great thinking! We’ll share with the team; they’re always interested in new feature ideas.

Yes! plan a stop for pick up of passenger or visits on the way to the destination. A shame it doesn't exist already. Google maps has it, apple has it... come on.

I'd like to use this for boomgates where we use private codes to open them for emergency services.

I like this suggestion. Came to make similar. I commute with someone and always have not start Waze until i get to his house or disregard until I get there. It would be nice to save a commute such as "Carpool with Jane to work" or such.

When searching for a new home you may have 5 or 6 (or up to 10) houses to look at. Make a way to enter all of the locations and have Waze figure out the most time saving route. This could also be used for chores.

Having the possibility to add more than one stop and reorder them would be great, or waze could suggest an « optimized » sequence of the stops to minimize time on the road.

I have a problem:
Often times I have multiple unfamiliar destinations I must travel to. This requires me to input one address to locate it on the map, delete it, enter a second address to identify it’s location on the map, and then guess which address makes sense to travel to first. This is time-consuming and often requires me to backtrack and waste gas.
My proposition:
Create a routing feature. This allows the user to input multiple addresses into the search tabs and Waze will map out timely and efficient routes. This saves users time, gas, and cuts out the guesswork on deciding which location to travel to first.
Any thoughts?
Best Regards,
J. Wellington

Hi! Hope all is well. I have a really good idea about how to make the user experience better. There should be a way to see all the restaurants close to your current route. For example, say you are going on a 5 hour trip. There should be a way to insert that you are going to want to eat roughly 2 hours into your trip. The app should show you restaurants that are roughly that far away and tell you how much time it would add to your trip. You should be able to plan all of this before starting your trip instead of constantly looking at “restaurants near me” when already driving.

While navigating to a destination and entering a new address Waze shows only two options:
Add Stop
New driveI frequently want to add the second address I type as the final destination and not a stop so I think there should be a third option like "Add final destination" so I don't need to cancel the current navigation and start over

Bonjour,
Il faudrait dans l’apli waze pouvoir rajouter plusieurs étape entre le départ et l’arrivée finale au lieu d’une étape actuellement, en faite il faudrait que l’on puisse rajouter plusieurs étape en même temps

It is currently not possible to add a second destination following your current destination but only add a mid-way destination in between.
It would be useful to be able to add another destination after the current one.

When traveling on the interstate for long duration, in searching for let’s say Starbucks, I want it to automatically pull up the next Starbucks close to my route ahead of me, not behind me 5 to 10 miles. This makes me have to constantly play around in search for a Starbucks on my current route.

Would be very useful if a passenger with waze on their device could suggest a destination along a current route and send it to the drivers waze device to add a stop. This would be very useful on road trips looking for food, bathroom breaks, post office or whatever may come up as a needed but unplanned stop.

I would like to take a ferry but Waze plans the road journey without the Ferry as an alternate option,

A feature that existed in the discontinued Microsoft Streets and Trips and has been popular with all kinds of businesses. I dont know if this functionality is available in any current apps.
The feature allowed to input a list of destination and would then sort it out in the most optimized way but based strictly on the map and most efficient route and of course your preferences (like shorter distance vs faster time or toll avoidance)
Merging this capacity with live and historical traffic data (like the Go Later feature of Waze) would be an amazing new feature for many users from just regular person running errands to delivery person or sale representatives...

When choosing a destination, you can add a step without having to go through the center of this step. Simply to force the passage of the way by this point. When adding a step, it would be nice to have the choice between "center" and "nearby"
