Add ability to turn off car pooling. I have been retired for three years and will NEVER need car pooling.

I am tired of being asked about car pooling.

I am usually a passenger. Often when I want to add a hazard the Carpool screen pops up. By the time I get it closed we are too far down the road to bother to enter the hazard. In addition, I am a female and, for safety purposes, will never pickup someone I don't know. How many comments do you need about disabling it before you do give us the option? PLEASE give us the option to disable it.

Please provide the option to remove this option if I don’t carpool

I am retired and live in a rural area, I will never use the carpool functionality, so it is a waste of resources and space on the screen, and pops up when you touch the screen the wrong way. There should be a way to turn this functionality completely off, especially when you have a separate carpool app "carpoolers" can use.

The carpool comes up when I am driving and my map goes away

I would like to be able to remove the carpool button. If you have it disabled, it should disappear. As someone the works from home and also would NEVER let a stranger in my car (considering the current pandemic) This option should be able to be completely removed.

I don't mind the search button on the home screen but I really dislike "carpool". It's being there along with popping up when you're looking at directions is aggravating. I will never use carpool; I looked for a way to move it and there's none, when there should be an option to hide it. It pops up at the most inopportune times. It has been annoying enough that I have thought about using another service altogether. Further, I hope this is not just some "pat on the head" to placate me. If there is no improvement from Waze, I will be switching to another app.

Program the Car Pool questionaire to come on ONLY at the beginning of a trip, and NEVER as the trip enters an urban area.

App switchs to wanting to setup a car pool when I'm driving. Car pool setup should unavailable while the app is tasked for navigation.

I hate this "feature". It is dangerous, and if I ever wreck because of it, regardless of any user agreement, I will sue waze.

I don't know how the Carpool screen opens but it does at the worst times. And yet this feature which I cannot turn off now blocks off the entire map. It's like putting up the sunscreen inside the windshield while driving. I see hundreds of people saying how annoying and problematic it is. It's more than that. People suddenly cannot see where they are or where they need to turn. How many accidents need to happen when people suddenly lose navigation?

Stop pop up carpool ads from blocking navigation screen. I nearly crashed trying to get back to map!!!!

Right after I posted this, I tried to use Waze for personal navigation. I set the phone in the passenger seat with the nav panel open. When I glanced over a couple of minutes later, the carpool window had opened by itself. Too late, Waze. I'll go back to using Google maps. I have deleted your app.

After the first hundred times I've (angrily) closed the carpool screen, maybe your app should get a clue and remove the stupid feature. I'm really dang close to deleting your app forever. Its usefulness does NOT outweigh the irritatuon caused by this stupid screen.

The carpool and Search buttons on the map screen take up valuable real estate and are annoying. The majority don't use carpooling, there should be an option to get rid of those buttons. VERY AGGRAVATING this is being forced upon users.

As a retired senior carpooling is an option I’ll never use , if accidentally entered you have no close or exit option , and it has prevented the map from appearing on my radio screen which is easier and safer to use

Waze should add a simple method for quitting the many bothersome solicitations that pop up and frustratingly dominate the screen, unable to be removed. The car pooling app is just one example of this. Provide that, and fewer people like me will be deleting the Waze app permanently.

Stop the ridiculous car pool crap! I could not get back to my directions and almost caused an accident.

If I can't find a way to stop this I will delete the Waze app.
