Traffic signs being defective like Trafic light not working should be reported as Danger.

Absolutely great idea

Allow the users to set notifications on whether the traffic lights are out, it pointsmen are on duty or not. If the lights are off or flashing red.

A lot of times when the light is out, the stop light dont work they just blink on red and that creates traffic so it will be helpful if we can report a non working light so drivers can avoid that street..

Please add this option. It would have been nice to be able to report it closer to the actual traffic light out. I can't be typing when driving!

We need an icon for when the street lights are not working. That's a hazard. It will be nice if we can earn other drivers.

Adding here to support the suggestion. Johannesburg has an epidemic of faulty traffic lights. It would be useful to be able to report lights that are (a) not working at all, (b) flashing red (so, in theory, equivalent to a 4-way stop), or (c) faulty in some other way, for part of the cycle (e.g. one colour not working, or turning arrow not working)

Entered here to suggest the same thing. Traffic lights out in an important crossing can totally ruin the traffic!!!

In South Africa we experience traffic lights outage on a daily basis due to power outage or cable theft or traffic lights are faulty. I would like to know in advance which traffic lights are off and would like to report traffic lights that are off. This will require street name to be effective.

Dead robots are a huge concern in causing major traffic delays/hazards in Johannesburg South Africa. Currently we use "Hazard" and then have to manually type "Robot Faulty". Problem is you cannot type while driving. Would be nice to have a "one touch" icon for faulty robots.

This idea has been around for too long...can we please get this implemented? I came across it multiple times this morning.

Too many icons for all possible situations. How many times do you see a light out?

You should have an icon to click on for when a traffic signal is out - I didn't see one available?

This is a very important one, as when you are driving you can't specify which hazard this is, and having a traffic light out of order can rely delay reaching your destination!

Add a hazard to note traffic lights that are out of order

This happened to me today, but usually construction is the cause, and you can put that in the hazard. Today it was out for no reason. It doesn't happen often, but when it does...nightmare!

I note that the suggestion was initially posted in 2012!!! And still no response. Faulty traffic lights remains is major problem/concern in South Africa, and almost certainly determines which route is to be chosen on any given day.

All of the previous posts are wholeheartedly supported.
