Il serait TRÈS UTILE de :

- 1) de pouvoir afficher et mémoriser sur l' écran du smartphone,
le lieux GPS en Latitude et Longitude de l'endroit où l'on se trouve ,
pour signaler :
par exemple ,
de nuit en pleine campagne ,
ou de jour , lorsque l'on ne sait pas avec précision où l' on se trouve ,
un problème anormal d' accident ou autre , aux Forces de Police, Pompiers , Secours , etc.....

ainsi que

- 2) de pouvoir choisir et rentrer , à la place d'une adresse standard ,
un lieu de destination avec les coordonnées en valeur internationale de LATITUDE et LONGITUDE

Par avance merci de prendre en considération ma proposition qui est la conséquence de situations mal vécues !

Go to Search> Settings> Display and Map. Activate Always show map control.

I would like to see a compass feature telling me what direction I was heading.

Best idea, especially of during driving it gives a sort of wifi signal level!

Compass needs cardinal points (i.e.; N S E W). The red arrow only appears to be a speedometer.

Could the compass be made bigger for us older eyes? I even think an option for a see-through full screen overlay would be awesome!

I like the redesign in 4.0 with one exception: Waze now seems to use the iphone's compass to decide which way the map should be drawn in 3d view. I have a magnetic mount that makes the iphone point towards me, so Waze is always in one of two modes: slightly off kilter facing right (even when driving down the road at highway speeds), or completely insane as the GPS and compass argue about which way the car is facing.
Waze was one of the few apps that DIDN'T do this, which is why I used it so much. Please let us flip this switch off in Advanced Settings.

this would be great! set address to contact as gps coordinate and the just simply open contact select open with waze and drive to destination!

The idea is simple, you have the ability to display a compas to your destintation, it makes total sense...

The reason you are using a navigator is because you don't know where you going or how to get there, but with a compass on your screen pointing to your destination and showing you how far it is in a straight line gives you a sense of direction, you then know where you going , not just turn by turn .

A perfect example in an ideal scenario would be for instance the navigator might show you to turn right at a t junction and the arrow could be pointing straight you might know a better route going left at a certain time, its honestly the most useful thing i think that could be added to the already amazing navigator, i would pay for to have it as an addon.

The idea is to not exit Waze. The feature should be accessible within Waze. It could be located under Menu | About | GPS.
