Wow, users asking for 10 years now, and nothing done about it. Ended up here Googling the same issue. Sad.

Please give an option to undo the report made by mistake.

Also allow an option to update the report by others of it doesn't exist anymore

I pressed report by a mistake i was trying to delete

Really could do with this undo or cancel reports option I just told everyone that the traffic lights are not working at my house. Twice!

My idea is that you should be able too edit or delete a report you created incase you accidentally create a report by mistake!

An undo button could be beneficial for new users experimenting.
However, there are good reasons why random users can't put reports on locations where they are not currently located (avoid abuse.) Trusted map editors can request permission to edit the reports map, though.

I agree why can't we delete I just placed accident at my house because I saw 3 accidents on way home that occurred on the highway and I thought I could put them when I got home because a cop was behind me and I didn't want to touch my phone you know hands free Georgia

Accidentally hit missing road sign just yesterday instead of vehicle on shoulder when the car bounced.

Once a report has been cleared (i.e. police, stalled car removed, etc), driver should have the option to delete that report.

I agree. Sometimes one just hits the wrong button.

I believe the waze community could use a button to undo or cancel a report that has been posted. Many times have we tapped the wrong button and suddenly a false report gets posted and we are unable to remove it.
10-15 seconds after a report has been made should be sufficient enough for someone to cancel if a mistake has been made.

Add "undo" - sometimes you don't see the reason for the report and you almost pass it, so you click the "not here anymore" and then you see it. If an "undo" remains as option for 5 sec, we may avoid this

A simple undo button should do the trick that disappears after 10 secs would be great :)

Notifications arise saying police ahead but they have since moved on. A button to update in real time dismissing this false positive would be great

I accidently reported an accident while stationary in a car park !! Very annoying how you can’t remove it as it gets you very worked up !!!

If a vehicle has been stationary for more than 5 min, they can not edit (add or remove) police, mobile speed traps etc. (Here in Victoria Australia) we've recently had parked police or mobile speed traps remove the marked position off the map they keep the waze app open and when a passing motorists marks it as police sighted they remove it by saying its no longer there.
