    Google acquired Waze for about $1 billion in 2013 and then never looked back. Sad.

    I'm afraid Waze is 'dead'. No one is listening to the wishes of the users anymore. I switched to TomTom navigation-app and use the eco-route: it has a good balance between duration and length of the route.

    What I really want is a kind of slider-option where I can set a preference between fastest route at one end and shortest route at the other end. I don't want to make a detour of 15km to gain 1 minute, but I also don't want to drive 15 minutes longer to gain 1km.
