Setting to turn off big purple road names
Many times these "new" big purple road names block the map at intersections and make it difficult to know if you are turning onto the correct street.

Too often the purple bubble with the street name hides the road so I have to guess which direction to take.
While driving, 95% of the time, I do not care about the street name but follow the graphical map.
Can you please add an option to hide the street names bubbles ?
I'm switching to Google Maps or Apple Maps because of this problem. -

Many people seem to have the same issue. Surprised this has been reported for so long, and still a problem.

Dear Ella, please inform us about the thoughts of 'the team' about this issue. It should definitely have their attention given the urgency evident in all the comments.
Or is it a deliberate policy to let Waze die a silent death? -

completely right, I am new Waze users, and these purple bubbles drive me mad. if this bug is not fixed the frustration will probably stop using the app. rest of the app is very good!

white font inside the purple navigation line would solve this issue!! just like regular street names are displayed. or remo e it altogether

Street names block half of the map. Why are purple bubbles still blocking navigation??? for the love of god please i beg fix this. why does there have to to be a huge purple icon for a street name??? why is it not written in small font right inside the purple navigation line?? this is UNSUABLE!!
