This seems to be an ongoing issue for users. Why isn’t it being addressed? It can’t be difficult to make it an optional feature?

Those labels make the app unusable in the cities. It is not a big feature to make a setting to disable it and will increase the ux so much. How putty!

When in navigation mode the purple route line hides the yellow and red lines showing traffic congestion. This discourages me from using waze. Please implement the route line like Google maps with the whole route line changing colors based on traffic instead of hiding this information with a huge purple route line. If this is hard to implement then just shrink the purple route line to be about 1/4 as wide so you can see the traffic color information underneath.

Too often the purple bubble with the street name hides the road so I have to guess which direction to take.
While driving, 95% of the time, I do not care about the street name but follow the graphical map.
Can you please add an option to hide the street names bubbles ?
I'm switching to Google Maps or Apple Maps because of this problem.

Madness! Here we are in 2023 with the same problem. It's not really a suggestion at all, it's a basic fix!

completely right, I am new Waze users, and these purple bubbles drive me mad. if this bug is not fixed the frustration will probably stop using the app. rest of the app is very good!

white font inside the purple navigation line would solve this issue!! just like regular street names are displayed. or remo e it altogether
