Bring back shortest route option. Sometimes it takes you 5km extra just for 30 seconds margin and cost you $$ in tolls. WE DON'T NEED THIS. BRING BACK SHORTEST ROUTE OPTIONS.

I am seeing QUITE often Waze taking me to weird narrow dark roads, with many bends and crossings, over a longer more continuous route with only 1 turn. I wish the options BEST, SHORT and FAST were put back… I am now considering using different navigator.

Waze has added and switched on in an update - Avoid difficult junctions?

It obviously believes we only have the ability to come out of a junction at a traffic light

Shortest journey meant we didn’t use traffic light junctions, and we’re not forced onto roads with buses on them

I’m not a tourist in London, so I definitely need the shortest route option back

By removing the option for “shortest route” you significantly reduced the functionality of Waze.

Put it back, kinda stupid to remove it if you think about it!

Please give the option for shortest route. Fastest route (set by default) is not the most economical.

Everyday when I go to/from work I always have to re-select the fastest route. It’s so annoying. Sometimes there’s a ten minute or more difference across the routes. Can you all make it so that we can have it always select the fastest route? I don’t care if there’s a toll, or a highway, I want to get home as fast as possible - not go through the airport.

I didn't realize that this feature was removed and was looking for it when I felt Waze wasn't always picking the most optimal route. Can you please bring this back? Every GPS I had before included this option.

Please add "most economically itinerary" and "most ecology itinerary"

With gas prices the way they are, we need the shortest route option. Otherwise everyone is going to switch back to Google maps even though we hate it.

With the gas price increasing so fast. Google maps has the option of eco route, need one for Waze.

yesterday it directed me through a Forrest and part of a city that was packed with cars and roadworks.
The fastest route would have taken me a little further, but been a lot quicker.

Show both freeway and non freeway options. Now I have to change preferences to avoid freeways and then look and then change preferences again and so on. It's so bad. Same with google maps. I want to see freeway and non freeway options at the same time. Show me 3 options, and then a button to show me more. And then the ability to lock my route and ask me if I want to rerout, never force a reroute on me.

fix the app to not force you to take the same bad road when there are alternate streets with better traffic flow. Even when taking the alternate, waze keeps telling you to drive in the opposite direction to get on the bad route !!
what happened to the option to save our routes.. it was in the earlier waze before it was bought by google!
