Been begging for months now for this same feature. Over Waze. HERE WE go maps is a option

Exactly the same reason I left. But they don't truely care about our opinions. It should have been integrated into the program from the start

The only reason why I have not completely stopped using Google maps is because this one feature was somehow overlooked. It's not fun to be out in the middle of no where when your signal drops and your only way out does too.

Have the ability to download maps for offline use…like Google Maps.

Possibilidade de mesmo estando sem rede, poder notificar alguma coisa. Por exemplo, em viagem, alguns locais não possuem cobertura da operadora que uso, logo o app poderia aceitar a notificação, armazenar localmente o local(posição geográfica) onde foi feito e assim que a rede voltar, apenas atualizar para a rede.

I understand a large number of the Waze features are specifically internet dependant, but I personally like how the standard maps itself is vs google maps.

I also really like the fact it watches my speed.

My suggestion is as the title suggests, I suggest to add Download option because some areas have no internet in it so it's unable to enter Waze or to active a road to navigate, and sometimes when going from one place to another the internet could be weak between these spots so there is a delay in the voice which could cause in a real accident. I hope this suggestion will be taken seriously.

Offline maps just like google maps

I need to navigate with this app even when I'm without mobile data, if you do add the offline mode that would be awesome.

Debería poder descargar el mapa completo para que no alla tanto consumo de Megas (datos moviles) , por que como ahora esta prácticamente se consume los megas rápido y se pierde la señal y no carga mapa así tenga GPS.

Hi there Waze editor(s) It would be hugely appreciated if this app could be used as an offline satnav with access to offline maps similar to Google maps. As many of the places in this country have got no signal whatsoever. Also just to add, a multidrop function with an unlimited amount of addressess available to be entered. many thanks and hope that some progress can be made to develop this great satnav free for the community

Permettere il download delle mappe, in modo da evitare problemi durante le parti di non connessione.

It would be great if the route can be saved, downloaded, or emailed to another person. I often travel for work. I download the map on google for expense report purposes but I use waze for directions and traffic. The route is not always the same and when i am taken off a main highway, it is difficult to find this on a regular map and report it.

Waze needs to download the map offline and calculate/recalculate routes.
Basically what Google Maps is now.

I know you can select your destination with Waze online and then disconnect from internet and then still go there but there aren't any route calculation so that's a problem.

Waze has better route calculations so it's better than Maps.

Many places in rural America still do not have cell coverage. I work in emergency services and while I prefer to use Waze on-line, when I get into areas without coverage, I need to have downloaded maps for our entire county present off-line. Waze is my preferred mapping system but it forces me to go to something else because of the lack of available off-line maps.
