Please add a thumbnail for directions when the app is minimized. Google Maps has this feature and it's great! Waze directions disappear when the app is minimized.

The fact this app doesn't have this feature these days is insane. It's been out for years on Google maps, Netflix, Hulu, etc. The most irritating thing about Waze. Makes this app feel 15 years old and outdated in current technology.

I would like to have the feature that when I leave the app but have the directions still running to have “turn alerts” or “direction display” the top of my phone or an alert when a new direction is coming up. Instead of having to go back to the app for the directions.

Display over apps is not working. There is no pop-up window. I have enabled - Always on Top in settings and also enabled Display Over apps

Add PIP to Waze, come on, its the 1 thing that is reallly missing. Its hard to go back to Waze after using this in Google Maps.

Lacks PIP, not useful. For people like me who depend on GPS on the road on a daily basis, it is critical that the map stays on top, regardless of what other tasks we may be using our smartphones for. It appears that Waze fans have been asking for this feature for several years and that Waze has acknowledge the requirement, yet to this date nothing has been done about it, which means that there are also gaps between what users want and what Waze customer service does.

In Google maps, this is a very useful feature, you can simultaneously watch the navigation and turn on some kind of application.
And also thanks to this mode, there will be less lags, since now, when switching between applications, the vase may no longer adequately determine your location. -
