Allow the map to minimize to a small floating view. So that it can be used while other apps/windows that are open. I'd say similar to a certain competitors. Just remember not to copy copy. Those companies would love to own you. ***** them, ❤️ waze!

Waze 100% at least needs the option to run in the background. Very important for motorcyclists who navigate via Bluetooth audio with their phone in their pocket.
Not to mention changing music (apps), and overall battery saver to turn off screen.

The only reason why I'm not using Waze. I can't understand why people upvote navigation voices by some random person and not a critical feature like this. It's plain dangerous not to be able to see the map at all times.

I really don't like having to choose between Google maps with their picture in picture and you know constant ly available navigation or like the nice reporting abilities on Waze like ways is very much a superior app it's just the whole not having a picture really stinks

It might be useless on cell phones, but there are thousands of users running 3rd party Android radios in their cars. It would be great if there was a navigation widget or at least PIP option (similar to Google maps) which could be integrated into custom Android radio launchers. Is there any chance we'll see it in future?

Please add picture in picture mode that way when you minimize app you can still see the map in the corner of your map while you do other things on your phone and instead of having to open app everytime

I absolutely love this App and would never use another. Wondering if there is an option or way to make it minimize like google maps does while looking at something else, then click on it to enlarge no normal size?

PIP is the must have now in 2022. Google maps got it years ago. This is so convinient. I don't understand why you can't add it.

Can you please release an update with the always on top function for IOS?

I still don't understand why this hasn't been implemented. I mean more and more apps have it now. Please bring this to Waze!
