Second, please consider an option to mark public transportation vehicles. Your software "goes nuts" by recalculating every junction, trying to get me "back on track".

In my (humble) opinion - millions of bus drivers / taxi drivers / tour guides / limo chauffeurs would thank you. The majority may not have good enough english to make the suggestion or support the idea, so you may consider it 2,000 votes easily. (or have a coval suggestion box - impossible to handle)

There should be a navigation portion to add for train/plane in addition to car especially when traveling on business or vacation by above means, so as to inform friends and family location/ETA INFO

Add an option to specify that you are public transportation (ie taxi, minibus etc) and have waze consider public transportation lanes to give you the best route for public transportation

Option to taxi. All taxi drivers say that Waze had to have that option.

In Brazil, taxis can ride in the bus lane when transporting a passenger. These bus lanes are much faster than regular car lanes and can make for better routes if they are factored as possibility. There could be a version of waze for taxi drivers to explore these options

Plus, it could show users of public transport where their buses are at any given moment. Would help users choose which bus to take.

I drive around a green school bus called TheFunBus (it's a fitness gym on wheels). I love using the Waze app because it lets community know that we are on the road to our schools! However, it was be very convenient if the Waze App gave me routes that avoided low clearance bridges and commercial routes

Totally agree! I think this would be very easy. I can turn on Waze now when I'm on the bus but don't think it is fair. It gives a false reading if I am stopping and starting on a bus.

I would like to see public transit added to waze. It will help bus drivers determine best routes and speed adoption by professional drivers and bus companies. You might need to add a transit route editor for that.

I think it would be great to have commuter rail for major metropolitan areas. Waze gets very confused when I ride the train in the mornings!

Add a public transport stations category under the menu navigate. Any other GPS I used had it and its a real pain to look for a train station and Waze doesn't find it! Its especially important when combining driving with e.g.a train journey but I can not find the train station car park.

Would like to b able to run Waze while on the bus, I don't want the stopping and starting of the bus to indicate a slowdown where there isn't one. However, there have been several times when I've been riding the bus that I would have been in a great spot to submit a traffic report.
