There is a progress bar in the native app when driving through an average speed control zone. If the user uses android auto (even with higher resolutions and ratio than 16:10), this bar is not there. So no way to know when we crossed the end of the zone. This is super annoying.

While driving in my car I have the phone in the holder on the dashboard.
But if I driven someone else's car I usually keep the phone on the passanger seat. At that point it's essential to have good audio instructions.
An example of what's missing is the indicateion of average speeed check end. (Since there is just silence, the driver does not know (without checking the display) if he is still in the zone or if it already ended.)
Simple gong signal would be sufficient.

And showing your average speed within the zone would be nice

I find it absolutely necessary. This is why I came here, to propose this feature.

This is the last feature missing, I think in the uk it’s critical as we have so many average zones

Alert distance of 500 meters is inappropriate on faster roads. It's easy to be linked to static value as the road's speed limit.
I suggest a formula, implemented in one Garmin camera file.
For roads with limit of 50 km/h - 500 m alert distance, for 90 km/h - 900 metters. For 140 km/h - 1400 meters.
So alert distance to be road's speed limit divided to 100.

If you drive in a speed trap of approx. 5 km long with a speed limit of 120km/h you should at any point during that speed trap distance know how much your average speed is since you entered that speed trap. But unfortunately waze only shows the current speed like verywhere else in bottom left corner. During a speed trap however current speed is of less importance. Average speed is then all that matters. Would be really great to add this feature. TomTom had this.

New speed camera technology is measuring average speed between two speed camera points. Waze could show actual mean speed on map from the last camera.

We have a lot of trajectory speed control areas in Belgium. It would be nice if Waze would calculate live your average speed in these areas and report it so you can reduce your speed if necessary.

Some Average speed cameras not in waze it will be nice to submit them manually.

If I am driving on at 75 mph, automatically increase my nofication distance before my exit etc. Other option would be for the user to set their own notification distances. This gives the user time to make better decisions as to when they should begin to exit a highway...

It would be great if Waze would show my average speed in an average speed check zone. Other apps (e.g. Dutch FlitsMeister) already do this and it helps keep a grip on your average speed in such a zone. Keeps the traffic flowing :)

add the average speed driven while driving during section controles

It would be nice to have the return of average traffic speed live when traffic is flowing under 60 km/hr.
