Add a "Military" pass to the options
Just like there are toll passes, CAV decals, and other options, there should be a "Military" pass and the ability to set "Military" restrictions on segments. This would reduce the amount of through routing on military installations.

This is very useful, but I think should be split into 5 or 6 pass types (some for each installation), given the access restrictions that each installation may impose. Maybe something like the following?
- Military ID
- Veteran Affairs ID (usually not accepted at most installations, but sometimes is)
- [Installation Name] Authorization (for each specific installation only)
- [Installation Name] Visitor (restricted visitor entrances, each specific installation only)
- [Installation Name] Mission Essential (for restricted areas on each installation)
- [Installation Name] Permit (some installations have areas where the general public is permitted to enter, but must purchase a permit)Segment restrictions could also be used to limit which hours these individuals are permitted past the gate.
-------------------------------------------------------
-- Example 1 --
Arnold AFB in TN allows anyone with a Military ID to access the Commissary and BX, and anyone with a VA ID can access the VA clinic only, but all other areas of the base are fully restricted to badged personnel only. Only one gate allows access to the BX/DECA/VA, so restrictions could be as follows:Main Gate:
- "Military ID"
- "Veterans Affairs ID"
- "Arnold AFB Authorization"
- "Arnold AFB Visitor"
- "Arnold AFB Mission Essential"Segments Beyond BX/DECA/VA:
- "Arnold AFB Authorization"
- "Arnold AFB Visitor"
- "Arnold AFB Mission Essential"Auxiliary (West) Gate (badged personnel only):
- "Arnold AFB Authorization"
- "Arnold AFB Mission Essential"https://www.arnold.af.mil/Home/Newcomer-Information/
-------------------------------------------------------
-- Example 2 --
Eglin AFB in FL has varying levels of access restrictions for different portions of the base. Portions of the base are subject to standard access restrictions, others are restricted, and others are on the land "reservation." Access to this portion of the base is ONLY by permit or Mission Essential personnel, military IDs are not sufficient. Like the example, this permit is available to the general public. For obvious security reasons, I can't go into too much detail, but this is generally what they are:Duke Field, East Gate, and West Gate:
- "Military ID"
- "Eglin AFB Authorization"
- "Eglin AFB Visitor"
- "Eglin AFB Mission Essential"Northwest Gate When Open
- "Military ID"
- "Eglin AFB Authorization"
- "Eglin AFB Mission Essential"North Gate & Hull Rd Gate When Open:
- "Eglin AFB Mission Essential"Reservation - Green or Yellow on Map (2nd link below):
- "Eglin AFB Mission Essential"
- "Eglin AFB Permit"Reservation (not on main base) - Red on Map, or as otherwise signed:
- "Eglin AFB Mission Essential"https://www.eglin.af.mil/
https://eglin.isportsman.net/Maps.aspx-------------------------------------------------------
Again, different installations may have varying requirements, so it will be important to tailor each installations to such.

I think it would depend on how implemented, but I think you're right (visitor gates without the pass but with something else limiting access, all others get the pass added).

This would be VERY helpful. Most military bases in the US have multiple gates, and usually only one of them is open to visitors, but to Waze all gates appear equal. Adding such a pass would make things much more convenient for visitors who wouldn't have to use the visitors' gate as a waypoint.
