I sure do agree that this would be helpful. I am left to send comments to the mapping team, which is also a waste of time for them.

I use Waze via CarPlay 99.9% of the time, so please make this feature available!

This Definitely should be a feature! Maybe make it a timed event, guaranteeing that it's applied during correct times or days. last night there was a closure of a major interchange heading a certain direction on a freeway. While waze said it was a quick navigation, people had reported lane closures, construction and emergency vehicles in that area as no one could say the interchange was closed until 4am, and that would help Waze to find alternate routes. Instead as you passed the interchange, Waze had to get off at the next exit, and get back on in the opposite direction to the interchange that was also closed off in the direction. I huge cluster mess....

PLEASE ADD THIS!!! It's impossible to mark when a road is blocked off other than to say a lane is closed or that there was a map issue — both are inaccurate and lead to people having to reply to my reports informing me that I used the wrong function.

I know it's not the right one but it's all I had available and I didn't want others to try the same route with the same issue.

This is becoming a major major issue -- 90%+ of people are using CarPlay and Android Auto to access Waze, and we had a big example of the lack of this feature becoming an issue just this Saturday in San Francisco: there were multiple unexpected road closures due to the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and literally no users were reporting the road closures because everyone was on CarPlay and Android Auto, so Waze kept sending people to road closures. Even 4 hours into it I didn't see any correctly reported road closures in San Francisco... I was told that part of the problem is Apple CarPlay limits the number of different interactions you can have -- I'd say this one is SO important it should immediately replace one of the existing ones...

Unexpected road closures are really disruptive. Letting users report in real time would be so much better for everyone so that we can keep each other informed and up to date. This has been being requested for a long time.

Also why is this starting over from the 2019 post, why would it have been closed unless it was added, which it clearly was not.

This is a no brainer Waze. Please add this feature better UX

why is this even a question? of course we need closure on carplay

My in car sat nav does not seem to see road closures as an option - but it appears on my phone app. But I can’t legally drive and use my phone to say the road is closed. Also be better if you had a quick button for potholes and road closure so it’s not recording it a mile down the road by the time yoh get through the menu. Or voice activate it.

also need the possibility of moving the pin to the site of the closure manually if you don't hit the button fast enough or can't mark it because you can't make the turn to the actual spot

Road Closures definitely needs to be available for Carplay for safety of the drivers and other cars on the road as well as to allow waze to provide an alternate route without sending us around in circles.

This ability to mark road closures is the only real featurestetting Waze apart from other apps but since "upgrading" to carplay and losing this critical feature (especially where I live) means that I might as well make the switch to Apple maps or Google maps. Very disappointing 😕

The previous post is started in 2019, this option still does not exist. Why is this being ignored? There is room enough on the screen and also there are other options way less useful on the "report issue" screen.

For sure! Otherwise it keeps re-routing back to the closure!

Need ROAD CLOSED back on CarPlay. Remove ROUNDABOUT, that’s an unnecessary option on CarPlay.
