Often encountering road closures due to construction and would love to see this feature directly in CarPlay !

However, we’ve been voting on this for four years and it is still not a feature and Apple CarPlay? It doesn’t make sense to have to unplug your phone to report a road closure. Safety third I guess?

Is this a limitation imposed by Apple or Google for in-car nav systems? If so it would be useful to post that rather than "not on the roadmap"

Agree! Please add road closure option to CarPlay! This will help tremendously for reporting the many temporary closures that take place in an urban environment. It will also help avoid map issue reporting as this is otherwise the only option. Please add CARPLAY!

This has got to be one of the most requested features and it is my biggest problem with Waze. You get an alert every time a car is in the shoulder but when Waze tries to take you through a closed road there’s nothing you can do but recalculate over and over. It is critical. Add it to the roadmap.

Not having the closure option available on carplay is ridiculous because almost all states are hands free.

We need the option of construction closures! With this new initiative to rebuild infrastructure and orange barrels everywhere the need for this is imperative! @apple

Not being able to do this feature on carplay is a safety concern. I mean it's against the law to text and drive and having to look down at a phone to report something on the road is very unsafe.

I agree this is needed as I have to do the same thing or get continually rerouted in circles through a closed road.

PLEASE. There are constant temporary closures in the Metro-Detroit area with all of the ongoing construction and infrastructure updates.

There was a road closure due to an event and Waze wanted to route me right through it. I tried to report the road ahead closed but the closest thing I could do was report incorrect driving directions. That’s not going to help the many after me, they’ll all be routed right through the closed street creating frustration while they waited for Waze to recalculate as it senses they turn off.

Michigan is now totally hands free for devices. I can interact with the CarPlay screen but not my phone making it impossible to report a closure whilst driving.

It is extremely inconvenient that road closures are not able to be reported.

This feature is important since we want to provide Waze with up to date map information. I cannot pull out my phone and input this info when I’m driving, leave alone trying to find an alternate route.

I'll just keep reporting temporary Road Closures incorrectly as Map Issues until this gets fixed.

This is a critical feature and it boggles my mind that it doesn't exist. There is nothing more important than a road closure, and when you approach one using Waze in CarPlay, there is currently no way to report it and have a re-route pop up. How can it be that we can report a roadkill, or an animal on the shoulder, or obvious fog (useless warning), but we can't report and react to a ROAD CLOSURE?!

I've needed this feature multiple times but it's not there in CarPlay, which forces me to enter the wrong thing just to have something to submit to warn people, which is so obviously low quality.
