Let users add speed camera locations
I noticed with the newest update that you omitted letting users update red light/ speed camera locations from the app .. not sure- why but I’d like to petition you to please add it back ..... we here in NYC are getting bombarded with cameras that have nothing to do with driving safe ( not near schools - hospitals etc) they are just another way for this city to take money from its hard working overtaxed citizens..

NYC Red light cameras were limited in number by law. The new speed cameras, on the other hand, pop up like weeds. New cameras are added every time the legislature votes. We must be able to report them on Waze.

Waze you fail to understand that by you ignoring these requests by drivers they are now looking for these cameras instead of keeping an eye on the road. Please restore the feature and add a buzzer or tone to alert drivers

Many people are strongly looking at other alternatives to Waze. Please add the feature back!

Please add this feature back. Removing it while allowing other notifications to remain is a contradiction to your website’s statement.....

The power of Waze is its crowdsourcing. How can you take away one of the most important and helpful crowdsourcing features? Please let us report speed trap cameras again. We are being blasted here in NYC, they are literally putting up 5-10 every single day.

Picture driving in a city, where the speed limits change, erratically, from block to block. And a lot of the speed limit signs are poorly, and deliberately placed, blocked by trees, or on sharp turns where your concentrating on driving, not to mention which, you miss speed limit signs, when ur constantly looking down at your speedometer, trying to avoid summonses for 26 & 36mph. Hearing the cameras being called out by Waze make driving MUCH more tolerable on Staten Island, AND even safer, by allowing us to keep our eyes on the road. Please return red light & speed camera locations to the Waze app, and help give us a chance keep our hard earned money....

the problem is that if we let everyone start to post camera location again on waze the map will become a mess.. a lot of people do not know what certain cameras are and do. and the locations will not be accurate.. i had this problem on iradar.. the map was a mess. people were putting cameras in Wendy's parking lot. we had police cameras the are up on top of poles added as speed cameras.. we had speed cameras put up were there is no camera...

Please let us have the ability to add both the Red light/Speed camera to the Waze map since the DOT/ NYC does not have the proper signage up to show were ACTUAL cameras exist. Their hundreds and thousands of PHOTO ENFORCED signs does not mean that there is an ACTUAL camera ahead of them. If the DOT/NYC would have provide proper signage for a REAL camera ahead maybe we wouldn't have needed an app like WAZE to inform us of REAL CAMERAS. WAZE does a tremendous service for the community! If the DOT can warn us of a STOP sign and TRAFFIC light just ahead, they should also be able to warn us of a RED LIGHT/SPEED CAMERA just ahead!
