Subject: Restore Red Color for Speed and Red Light Camera Alert Banners

I am writing to provide feedback on the recent UI change regarding the pop-up alert banners for speed cameras and red light cameras.
​In previous versions, these alerts appeared in a bright red banner, which was immediately noticeable. In the current update, the banner has changed to a dark gray/black color. While this might look "modern," it creates a significant visibility issue, especially when driving in Dark Mode or at night.
​The dark banner blends into the background of the app, making it difficult to distinguish an important safety warning from other map elements at a glance. For driver safety and awareness, I strongly request that you restore the high-contrast red color for these specific enforcement alerts.

This would let people that don’t have on their reading glasses know how fast they are going without exceeding the speed limit by more than 10 mph. Nevin Byrd

Have the increments to show in green before reaching speed limit, like how it is in red after exceeding speed limit.

Please please please get rid of the black background when numbers are red. They can’t be seen on a phone screen.

Can you look into separating these 2 options so that they can be turned on or off independently? This would be super helpful

The speed camera should be a clearly visible colour not the same colour as the map/route. Come on!

Have a setting to edit our own way of the map for personal use, change speed cameras blue animation to red and make it more bigger as we can't always see the map when we are driving but big red flashing would help if we are going over speed limit

Waze should do that, better yet, they need to have the speed announcer in every speed limit changes, they need to announce it so that you don’t end up getting a ticket, and respond faster on the speedometer

Please help color blindness!

It needs SOUND, not just a pop up text warning. Text is useless to a driver as it's often missed due to keeping eyes on the road!

Wave have to play a Sound to indiquate that the driver ride to speedly
and in option also a flash red warning on the screen.

When you are driving faster than the posted speed limit, the alert is hard to read especially if you are wearing sunglasses. The alert that shows your current speed is a black background with red numbers. This is very difficult to read on a sunny day!!! Can the numbers be changed to a different color that shows more contrast between the numbers and background?

The speed sign in Waze is hard to read!. My suggestion is that you change the color to the same as the signs on the road, the yellow color makes it easier to read the black speed numbers.

Please consider changing the color combination during the over speed limit occurrence from red numbers on the black background to another combination. Color blind people like myself cannot see red on black background. White on black or yellow on black would be great. Thanks.

When the speed goes over the limit the phone display to turn into red

Can you please give a option of over speed colour as red on back is unreadable, maybe yellow on red. Also have an option of small, medium and large icon size.
