Update reporting location
It would be great to mark where the report is, example, after observing a police speed trap, we should be able to mark where the trap is. Now Waze assumes it is right where I am when making the report, but that is not accurate.

I recommend "recording" the place where the driver first opened the "report" option before placing the report he posted - since it can be tens and even hundreds of meter different for where the situation on the road is compered to where he got, on the road, by the time he finished submitting the report.

Waze already works this way. A click on the orange button locks coordinates of the report,

I’ve noticed that sometimes it isn’t safe to make a full report while driving in the moment. Sometimes it is safer when I have traveled several hundred yards past the reporting subject, such as a disabled vehicle on shoulder. If users press the report button, it would be nice to have that automatically store a report location then allow the user to specify the report type once it is safe to do so. I’ve noticed sometimes my reports get delayed 0.5 miles down the road since I can’t specify the report in time where the incident is exactly. Please ask for clarification if this is not making sense.

When driving I don't always have the ability to press the alert button and choose the issue before I am already 5 KLM down the road. Being able to move the alert would be great.

Upon creation stage of reports, report location should appear as a blimp on the live map and pin should be drag-able to improve accuracy of desired location/point of interest.

When creating a report, the location of the phone when the orange report button is pressed should be saved as the location of the report in order to make the report’s location more accurate.
Ex: I see a police officer, and hit the orange report button, but it takes me a mile or so to finish filling out the report. When i hit “send” the report will go to the location where the orange button was originally pushed, rather than the location of when the user hits send. -

Currently (at least in the Android app), when you click on the directions in the back bar at the top of the screen, the "next turns" drop down. Once this is displayed, you also have the option to look at "reports ahead". I LOVE this feature, however I would like to be able to "click" or "tap" on one of those reports and have it bring up the location of that report on the map.

That's totally right. But as far as i'm using waze it's working that way. So first time You are touching icon to report something - this is the place You want to be reported. And later You are not in hurry - just choose icon. So Your suggestion is not truth - because the place You want to mark is not the end of report, but the beginning.

It appears to me that the point your update goes in on the map, is where you are when you complete the report. By the time you complete the report, you are hundreds of feet to 1/2 mile from the point of the actual problem or issue. Like if there is an object in the road which is kind of too late if another user doesn't see the report until after they hit the object. If you mark the spot on the map where the report was started, then it would be much more accurate.

Add feature to disable audible directions but keep audible alerts. Directions when I know the way are annoying.
