Add Electric Charging station location info.
As as EV driver, it would be nice if electric charging station locations was built into the app so I don't have to go to yet another app just for this info. The data is widely available from here
http://www.afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity_locations.html
and here
and here
One problem is there is not one site that has all the info, so I'm forced to check all three. Having all this data within Waze would allow me to stay inside the app without having to leave it.

Great news! The option to see the EV charging stations along your route is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out. You may also check this link to learn more.

Yes! Please make Waze more EV aware!! I live in The Netherlands. It's a small country with a fine mesh of charging points throughout the country.
It could be used as a Waze "playground" to explore this and run a beta! Even if it's just for the public chargers (by which I mean not semi-public).
Honestly, this is the most important of what has been missing for me (collaboration with ChargeMap?)

I have to use Zapp Map for journey planning and then put th destinations they suggest into Waze, so not very good.

Keep it simple but please, implement it NOW.
Add "fuel types" to existing function.
Types can be simple like today with fuels: Diesel. 95, E85.
Just add:
Chademo
CCS
Type 1
type 2Please, just do it. Now.

You should even merge ABRP to Waze.

Is Waze waiting for 2035 end of oil-fueled vehicles to implement basic ev features ?
"under consideration" what a joke ! -

If Waze is listening, PlugShare is a great source. In addition to the locations, Plugshare also allows users to check in and how long they will be using the station for. Like Waze, Plugshare is updated by it’s users who add and update plug type and availability. I would love to see integration with Plugshare in Waze, if such a thing were made possible. Not only the ability to search for ‘charging station’ in Waze, but what KIND of charging station. Is it L2? DCFC? Tesla? CSS? Is it available? If not will it be available by the time I get there? Plugshare has all of those details at many plugs, and making some of that information available in Waze would be amazing.

It would be great if I could select "electric car" as the vehicle and enter my individual range at the start of the journey. Waze could then, if charging stations are included, calculate a route with necessary charging stops and show me where to take a break to charge.
I am willing to pay € 20-30 for such a feature, after all, it does work for the developers that should be rewarded. -

Would be super usefull if there was a possibility to opt for electric or hybrid-gasoline next to diesel, LPG, CNG and regular gasoline.
On top of that, when electric or hybrid was selected, the selection of the type of charger should be possible!!!!

Soon (better) or later (worst) they’ll have to implement it anyway. The (near) future is going to be electric anyway. 🙋🏼♂️
