Big "stop Waze" button
Sometimes (often) you just want to stop and close Waze. But you have to go through menus, which is DANGEROUS while driving. There should be a big readily-visible X on the main navigation screen. Or alternatively, a big readily-visible MUTE button.

I just swipe from the right edge of my phone to the left and Waze shuts down. Maybe that's a special useful feature only found on Android phones.

I find it very difficult to exit Waze when I want to and am often looking at the screen while driving searching to try and shut it off. The sleep button should be much easier to find from any page. It should be accessible within 2 taps using the same process from every page. Usually I’m scrolling back to a prior screen to hopefully find the button that allows me to exit. Often I leave it running in the background because I can’t find the sleep button from the current display. Please make Sleep Mode accessible from any page *within 2 taps*. Thanks!

Hey Google, turn off voice directions. No need to touch the screen at all. Unfortunately this can't be used to switch to Alerts Only.

It is really annoying having to turn my phone off just to turn Waze off when I don’t need it any more or I want a new destination. Put a simple STOP 🛑 button that’s VIsible on your app.

this ap is now very NON intuitive to close for example.. I mean why do i have to find the lil arrow and Im trying to drive? Why did you alter how it worked before. I have deleted waze .. I will use it again when its Intuitive and you do not have to be a NERD to use it. I have an I phone. again Put a CLOSE icon at TOP left or right of screen. Things should be there and we should NOT have to hunt for the it. Not all of us are Nerds.

If you forget to shut down waze then waze will shutdown your phone by killing the battery. Waze should have an option to shutdown when the battery reaches 5%,10%,25%, 50% or a selectable percentage.

Simple - get rid of "sleep" and put the "quit" option back in. I don't trust the app to quit, and I'm getting tired of manually killing it using task manager.

Another idea when the destination is reached is a dialog box with 2 buttons :
o Keep Waze openned (with autoclose with 10 seconds)
o Exit / turn off / quit Waze -

When we arrive to destination. A rubbon is showed with "park" and 3 other buttons.
The idea is to add a button to quickly quit Waze which is what I do each time I arrive to destination :)
