Voice preview

Play a preview of how the voice will sound when selected so that we will know what it will sound like before setting the voice.

    I have no idea what a voice sounds like until i activate navigation. Would be great to hear a sample when selecting a voice.

    Well, I just installed the app, wanted to change the voice and ... found out a very basic functionality of testing the sound is missing since 2015. Come on...

    Add a voice preview feature. This is one the most desired requested features... yet when it's suggested there is never a comment from you guys... at least respond.

    We get customized voices and such to pick from but no way to preview the voice unless already driving. Simply putting a preview voice would go a long way for this.

    Looks like people have been asking for a "Test Voice" button for years... how hard can it be?

    I need the ability to test whether the voice and volume are ok before starting out on a long navigation.

    It should be easy enough to do... Just add a function when you select the voice, you can trigger an event, in addition to actually changing that setting, you could trigger it to say a line that "this is the new voice for Waze..." or something like that.

    Please! With no GPS in the building, it's impossible to test if the configuration is working easily.

    Yes. It would be great if a sample of the voice played immediately after tapping on it. Going back to maps and adding another destination then waiting for the voice to say something is truly unnecessary.

    and in 2019 I am searching for some feature that will give, or repeat any voice instruction so that I can be sure it is playing correctly through my radio speakers.

    Can't believe we have to keep asking for something so basic as this. Would someone even install a ring tone without ever hearing it first?Waze, wake up!

    When I select a voice then I want a preview of the voice becease I want to know how the voice sounds.

    Can you guys please add a feature to sample navigation guidance voices? I think it would be helpful instead of taking 5 minutes to download a new one and then set false destinations just to hear what it sounds like and probably hating it.

    Just a suggestion. I'm pretty sure I am am not the only one.

    Can you please add a function you can have a preview when you choose / change your navigation voice? (e.g. "in 200 m turn left")
