Variable Speed Limit Camera Audio Cues
Hi, based in the UK here.
When a user drives in a variable speed limit zone on a motorway in the UK, Waze thinks the speed limit is 70 mph all the time when in fact the speed limits can be changed from anywhere between 20 mph and 70 mph.
These variable speed limit zones have several speed cameras that can detect speeding for a variety of speed limits.
When navigating on Waze, when approaching a speed camera the audio cue for alerting to speed cameras does not play when driving within the speed limit shown in Waze, only when driving over it.
It would be nice if Waze alerts drivers to all variable speed limit cameras with an audio cue, as well as displaying a warning on the screen.

I'm using the latest version of Waze (5.17.1.0) and the VARIABLE speed camera alert feature is NOT available.
Settings> Alerts and Reports> Reports> Cameras
The only options are: Speed camera:
Show on map, Alert while driving
Red light camera:
Show on map, Alert while driving
Speed and red light camera:
Show on map, Alert while driving
Stop sign camera:
Show on map, Alert while driving
Mobile police camera:
Show on map, Alert while drivingPlease provide more detailed guidance on how to activate audio cues for VARIABLE speed cameras (as Soham describes above, Waze has the road speed for all motorways set at 70mph, but on a VARIABLE smart motorway, the speed is controlled by computer and different mandatory speed limits can apply when the traffic is being managed).
