In-app option to turn off familiarity capping
Give the users the option to always display Speed Cameras and Hazards that familiarity capping would otherwise remove from the display.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

I find it bizarre that I always get noticed about Red Light cameras, but speed cameras I frequently go through don't even display on the map. How easy is it to be just driving around your local area and forget to check your speed for a minute. Please give us the option to turn familiarity off

I've come here just to +1 this idea.
For me, the app is pointmess without noficiations for cameras.
I'll use Google Maps for now. I might come back in Waze in a month or so to see if things have improved. -

In my opinion, alerts are the most important benefit from using Waze compared to other apps that have varying limitations on alerts (by comparison).

Constant reliable alerting is critical to not missing cameras, particularly phone cameras, even if they are regularly passed.
