Make footpaths more distinguishable in the app
A footpath in the app is the same colour and barely a fraction of a millimeter thinner than a road, so it’s easy to miss where a driveable road ends and continues as a footpath. Changing footpaths to dashed lines just like in the browser Map Editor would 100% solve the problem.

Agree with both comments, please consider this Waze - you can't tell what is and isn't a footpath, not even with the map editors' view - and yeah marking off-roads as brown in the map editor view and then having the private roads a sort of dark yellow would also make sense.

Yeah agree here. Was also thinking dashed lines. Same for pedestrianised areas. Both in the default and map editors view.

Thin dashed lines are a widely accepted way to show a walking path and would be considerably more intuitive on a map like ours that has no legend to explain the drawing conventions.

Also give private roads another colour than streets, at least in the map editors view. This enables to spot map errors way more easily.
