Needed in Poland

A lot of new speed limit zones appears last years
Not only in Poland but also in other European countries
Users will love this feature for sure to avoid using other app like Tom Tom

Of course it should work also with Apple CarPlay and android auto

@Waze Team: This is the only functionality in Waze that I now really miss during my daily drives (I use it in conjunction with Apple CarPlay)! It is a small addition, but one that would be very handy and adds to safety on the road. Now I am forced to use another app that does have this feature, while I prefer to use Waze.

We are now 2 years later (!) after the message that it does not fit on your roadmap, but there are more and more of these kind of route controls in Europe, so not only in the Netherlands this would be a useful feature, but everywhere in Europe. Please add! Especially in the Netherlands this would make many people happy who now do not bother to post here on this forum. Hopefully you guys will consider this feature again. Thanks!

Here in Belgium we have a lot of Taject Control places, it would be nice if we got our AVERAGE speed throughout the course, and also the RECOMMENDED speed to not recieve a fine.

It would be nice to see the average speed you're driving when you're in a speed zone.

It is a shame this feature is not on your roadmap.

Only the beginning of a section control is shown. It would be good to show the banner until the end of the section and in the meantime also show the average speed within the section (so you know if you're above the speed limit or not).

It will be a really game-changing feature in Italy! Lots of average speed monitoring zones here!

To add actual average speed along the average speed radar segment on the screen

It's a must!!. And also it's way for Waze to make our roads more safe. Sometimes people forgot the limits and starts driving super slow in the enforced zone making other cars to overtake them what is not safe.

Very strange that it's not planned!
It should be quite simple to calculate the average speed since entering an average speed zone.
When entering such zone, a green bar is currently displayed on the left side and a circle shows the position of the car along it.
I only suggest to put the current average speed inside the circle (a little bit larger one) and to change the color of the bar to red if the average speed is over the limit, and turning it back to green when slowing down the speed enough to not exceed the limit.

I agree with some of the comments, it's a must-have feature soon and sounds a simple one. There are more and more average speed checks now, at least in Europe.

An alternative would be to indicate the average speed zone similarly to a traffic jam on the map, but with another colour.

Not only at the start but also at the end of the zone

Permit user to Set up two points in the map and let waze calculate live speed average as they travel
