Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Waze optimizes your travel based (among others) on the segments average speed. By having this information displayed and also based on the surrouding environment, the driver would be able to adapt its speed in order to optimize its fuel consumption (Why drive at the speed limit to stop behind 10/20 cars at a yield/stop sign ?).
